Aberystwyth Round Table are seeking new members.
... Are you new to the area? recently relocated? Would relish participating in local challenges (many for charity)? Happy socialising – with a drink & meal most months? Enjoy giving back to your community? Don’t want to be involved in any secret societies or bound by tiresome rules and regulations? Our members like to do all of the above and we like to have a bit of fun whilst doing it. If you're interested we’ll be happy to make you most welcome at Aberystwyth Round Table.
The members of Round Table come from all walks of life and join for a variety of reasons – perhaps as a gateway to relaxation and to enjoyment, or as a way of participating in the local community. It is, of course, an ideal way for those who have moved into a new area to find new friends of a similar age.
Membership of Round Table helps to create confidence and character. The individual learns quickly to mix and ‘haveago’ at helping to organise and run meetings and events. Our main event is the Aberystwyth Town Fireworks Display the funds raised from this event enable us to support local good causes.
How do I become a member? After attending as a guest, potential members are invited to join. There are no barriers regarding one’s political, religious, occupational or marital status and the only qualification is to be male and aged between 18 and 45.

Aberystwyth Round Table have sponsored a charity event to raise money for Bobath Children's Therapy Centre Wales. Local fundraiser for this amazing charity Bridget James is pictured with Aberystwyth Round Table Chairman Luke Baker receiving a donation of £500.00 for a successful event held in Pier Brasserie.

Aberystwyth Round Table have recently donated a Flir Prometheus thermal imaging camera to Bad Achub Aberystwyth Lifeboat. This state of the art thermal imaging equipment will be used to locate casualties and missing persons in the quickest time possible. The equipment has already been used in a real rescue operation.
The funds for this equipment were raised by the community's amazing support of the Round Table Fireworks Display.

Thank you Aberystwyth for supporting the Fireworks display in Aberystwyth Rugby Club last night.
A huge thank you must go out to all of the stall holders, sponsors, fireworks technicians,PA technicians, St John's Ambulance, Aberystwyth Rotary Club, MW Scaffolding and Brandon tool hire for the barriers and to the Rugby Club for hosting us. There are to many people to mention that have helped make this display the biggest and best we have ever put on, thank you to each and eve...ry one of you.
A big thanks goes out to the members of Aberystwyth Round Table who have given up their time to organise the display for the benefit of the local community.
And finally to the spectators who came out to enjoy and support the display, without your attendance there simply would not be a fireworks display to look forward to, thank you.
I am delighted to announce we seen record numbers last night and have raised an amazing £6,500.00 for local charities and good causes.
Thank you to each and everyone of you for making the display a success, on behalf of the members of Aberystwyth Round Table.
