Come and try the Clay Pigeon Shooting Club. What could be more fun beating those Wednesday and Sunday hangovers with a shotgun and smashing some clays? Whether you are a seasoned shooter or you have never held a gun in your life, the Clay Pigeon Shooting Club can add some ‘explosive’ fun to your university life.

Clay Pigeon shooting is a fun, exciting and safe sport that has a variety of disciplines. Mid Wales Shooting Centre are our main sponsors and give the club excellent rates for clays and cartridges - and on a typical shoot you can expect to be greeted at the ground by a hot pork bap and a warm drink to set you up for the day.

Our socials run every Friday night throughout the term time, and they have plenty of themes and challenges that all can get involved in. But make sure your on time. . . . late fines are compulsory! !

So whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced shot, there is something for everyone. Don’t be afraid to come along and give it a go, because you won’t know how much you enjoy it until you try.
