About Academia Europaea Cardiff Knowledge Hub

Promoting research excellence for policy and progress, we are a catalyst for knowledge exchange, collaboration and ideas.

Academia Europaea Cardiff Knowledge Hub Description

Founded in 1988, Academia Europaea now has more than 3, 000 leading scientists and scholars as members, including over 50 Nobel Laureates. Promoting research excellence across all fields of scholarship, Academia Europaea exists for the public benefit and to highlight the value of scholarship and scientific evidence. Academia Europaea operates through a network of hubs across Europe.

The Cardiff Knowledge Hub opened in the capital city of Wales (UK) in 2016. We are hosted by Cardiff University, one of the UK’s leading research universities. We have a special focus on building relationships within North-Western Europe, including the Celtic nations, as well as the wider Anglophone world, and do so in a way that complements the role and activities of the other Academia Europaea hubs.
