Dear All,
I am pleased to announce that A*chieve will be resuming for lessons in the library from Saturday, 15th September for both English and maths lessons. All ages are welcome, from primary to A level, and the classes are arranged in very small groups. This enables us to give a great deal of individual attention to students. The lessons are bespoke - not an endless round of worksheets. We concentrate on what is important to improve your child’s performance in these cruci...al subjects.
On this note, I am delighted with the results achieved by the students this year at GCSE. 100% gained A* to C in both English and English literature and the literature results were particularly pleasing - 50% of students achieved A and A* grades.
Emily and I are very experienced teachers. This is my 30th year as a secondary school teacher of English and Emily is going into her 22nd year.

Hi Everyone. I hope you’ve all had a great holiday. I’m back in the library tomorrow for English tuition and Ben will be there teaching maths. For those with GCSEs and AS and A levels imminent, it’s the last push in these few weeks before the exams. Those in the younger groups will be facing literacy tests very soon and it’s time for that last minute practice.
We’re really looking forward to seeing you all again. New pupils are always welcome.

I hope everyone had a good summer. A*chieve tutoring is open for business again on Saturday in Carmarthen library. I'm delighted to say that A*chieve now offers maths tuition as well. A*chieve English tutoring will re-open for business on Saturday, 16th September from 10.00 until 2.00pm in the library in Carmarthen. I teach small classes and children of all ages, from primary up to A level. This summer I marked 500 of the new GCSE English Language papers. It's given me a real insight into helping students address the high demands of the new syllabus. The resits are in November so getting started early is vital. I also tutor English literature and have taught the whole literature course to students not offered the opportunity in school. Why not get in touch and we can have a chat: 07572509094. A*chieve has enjoyed a fantastic first year of business in terms of GCSE results. In English Language: 100% of students achieved A* to C (70% at grades A* and A grades). In English Literature: 100% of students gained A* to C (75% of those grades at A* and A).... I am so proud of all the students. They worked very hard and so deserved their success.
