Action Bikes (Permanently Closed)

I had been complaining about poor braking and lack of feel, which I put down to the brake shoes. Richard totally surprised me by changing the brake cable and he was spot on. Much better.
He also spotted my seat was a little too high. This reduced my stretching which improved my back and neck groans, this also increased my power output.

Great advise at minimal cost. No messing about. :-)

Couple of times went there to fix punctures, change tires etc. Service is efficient and reliable.

Most unwelcoming bike shop I've ever been in. Staff were unfriendly and seemed like they didn't want my custom. Got a puncture on the way to work and was told it would be 1.5hrs before they could do it, what the hell!?! Every other shop I've ever been be would have just done it, seriously, it take two mins to whip out a tube and put new one on. Will make sure i carry spare now rather than give them my custom

Bought a mountain bike for my son, all I can say is that the service was 1st class, even when after a few weeks the bike developed a problem, it was resolved within an hour and totally free of charge.

can't ask for better than that

Only spent £10 on a bell and a new inner tube and was treated like it was £10,000
