Yes the staff here are amazing. Can't do enough for you 5 stars. ✨ A girl called Ayla is my favourite instructor.

User

We had an amazing time in the crash splash lagoon. Our 8 year old loved every minute of it. Not sure who was the most competitive, him or his dad. Lifeguards were very attentive and encouraging. We will definitly be doing this again.

User

Took my boys here for their first surfing lesson. Considering they were so nervous on the way, the instructor got them in the water and they were off. In fact we had tears because they didn't want to leave. Even though we live 2 hours away we will be coming back very soon. Amazing place, friendly and professional. Cannot recommend highly enough and thank you for giving them the surfing bug!

User

Surf Snowdonia is magic, and Andy has done an amazing job. I brought my family to Wales via San Diego to surf in the mountains of northern Wales. Need I say anymore... Place is world class!

User

Really really happy with our trip to here, I had two beginners lessons, both instructors (Scott and Zak) were fantastic and I had a Beginners Wave session by myself to practice. So so much fun and the best (and easiest) way to learn from scratch. My partner who is a seasoned surfer rode the Advanced wave for the two days and was extremely happy. The place itself is clean, tidy, professional and well run and everyone so friendly. We will be back as soon as possible!

User

Love it here, the staff are all so helpful and friendly. Particularly BEN in the shop. He's gone out of his way to help us surprise our son for his birthday with a new board. Helped me organise a surf session for him, taught him how to wax his board, and treated him brilliantly. I get the impression this is what everyone gets from him. Top guy. Absolute top service from the shop, and everywhere else at Surf Snowdonia. Been here a number of times now, so have experienced most things they offer. All I can say is, with an 11 yr old infatuated with surf...... We will be back!

User

Just come back from our second time at Surf Snowdonia. Had a fantastic time again. We had a Groms lesson with Liam who was an outstanding instructor, full of enthusiasm and a great credit to the venue. Once again, I can not fault this place. Love it, love it, love it! Everyone had a ball it was huge smiles, giggles and laughter non stop." What's that sound? ...It's the sound of fuuuunnnnn!!!!"

Thank you Liam, thank you Surf Snowdonia!

User

Amazing place. Great surf lesson experience - fab instructor too. Restaurant service not good though. Think they were unprepared for visitors 40 min wait for food!!

User

Although I love this place, was quite shocked today by the price increase - membership gone from £50 to £100 and the discount decreased from 25% to 20% - and some charges per hour have increased by £5 - I know you need to make money but surely people will just use the facility less, and feel like we are being ripped off, an increase in either the membership or wave price would have been acceptable but not both and then to reduce the membership discount!!!!!!

User

Absolutely brilliant 4 days on the camper van plots. Great facilities. Children had surfing lessons and the surf instructors (Ruben and Matt) were so great with them as beginners- patient and fun even in the cold.

Staff lovely, place lovely and would come again. A big thanks from Daisy and Millie

User

We popped in unplanned today with our 2 year old . We all

loved watching the surfing and the soft play area is brilliant and appeared to be clean and well maintained !!!

User

Love surf snowdonia. Bring the little one to soft play often. Tried out the drive in cinema tonight and zombie run. Was good but bit expensive for what it was.

Very disappointed to be told by ignorant bar staff I couldn’t order pizza for after my zombie run and they would still be serving after it. So..

Got to the bar after the zombie run to be told they’ve run out of dough and stroppy barman said we just aren’t serving food any more.

However great big shout out to the guy on the popcorn stand and his colleague who saved the night and my “hanger” by sharing their garlic bread and bringing chips. thank you!!!

See you tomorrow for Casper!

User

Bought my partner a years membership and vouchers for her birthday. She loves this place but we’ve had a nightmare with bookings, vouchers lost bookings mixed up etc and then when she finally gets a booking sorted and uses her vouchers we get a phone call to say they haven’t got many bookings so are cancelling hers as they are going to close for maintenance! This is after a 3 month shut down? Not impressed and won’t be shelling out for another membership

User

Nice location but was let down today like many other parents that were there just for a drink and the kids to the soft play at around 1pm to be told it was shut for cleaning. We had 3 disappointed kids so we left and went elsewhere like most parents that were there at the time. Poor decision by management.

User

Will never go to another event here let alone the place at all. Firstly electric wave... need I say anymore?

Secondly I took my 2 year old son to your Christmas event where there was to many older children on the toddlers tiny bouncy castle so he literally got smacked about way to much.

I had to climb on and get him off, then I got told to get off which I understand but not when I’m trying to get my hurt crying child, no organisation to the event at all!

No organisation to the children’s events or activities it was a load of stuff left on a table for the parents to figure it out themselves!

We then que’d to see Santa for 20-30 mins with my son and as soon as we got to the door they turned us away and said ‘Santa is going on a break now and will be back at 3:30 bearing in mind the event started at 2:30. And they had seen us queuing for quite some time!

They could have turned us away before queuing that long and before I promised my son he was going to see Santa.

Literally an awful day out both times I’ve been to this venue I seriously will not go back or recommend.

User

We used to love this place. Good vibe and met loads of great people staying in the pods. HOWEVER, utterly disappointed this year as the prices have hiked massively. Membership doubled from £50 to £100, accommodation gone from £70 to £110 and no longer includes breakfast, which they didn't tell us when we booked. Only found out when we got to the till at breakfast to be told we owed £25! Rip off. They will be pricing themselves out as new wave gardens are built across Europe and they will be relying on locals and members. We'll be lucky to recoup the cost of the membership this year as we certainly won't be staying there again. A real shame.

User

Rip off and terrible customer service. They started my session late and gave the other guy in my session an extra wave than me. That doesn’t sound like a big deal but when you’re paying £50 and around £5 per wave... Missing out on a couple of waves basically equates to having £10 stolen off me. When I sent an email questioning why we started late and why we didn’t all get equal amount of waves, they said someone would get back to me... I’m still waiting. They evidently couldn’t care less about the customer experience and are solely focused on trying to make as much money as possible.

User

I used to love this place. The wave and the facility are amazing. But what I can't stand is the fact everything is designed to take money from you.

Now with the 2018 season approaching there have been further price increases. £50 an hour is just not something many people can justify spending regularly. In addition the membership package used to be great. But now they have increased to by 100% to £100 a year. It just means it's unaffordable.

I won't be going this year unfortunately

User

I had booked to come to the surf festival in July which was cancelled due to weather conditions. Due to being 6+ hours away i called enquired about getting a refund for the surfing session. After a long winded conversation they refused to give a refund and only agreed to give a voucher for 50% of the value we paid. I grudgingly accepted as it was better than nothing. I looked in the online shop and found a product I wanted to buy, only to find the vouchers were not redeemable online. They only gave me the vouchers to make me go away and end the call. Awful customer service and pretty much blatantly lied to me.
