Perfect place to stay for mountain biking families. Food is great and excellent value. Rooms are clean and tidy. Bike storage is great and the small skills area round the back is great for the kids!

Fantastic bar and restaurant. Great service. Fantastic staff. Triple rooms are basic, but clean, and ideal for groups of cyclists.

Great location, clean rooms, lovely food and a very warm, friendly welcome. Perfect base for anyone looking to ride Afan Forest mountain bike trails.

Perfectly located for riding the trails in Afan including direct access to the old railway line. Their staff are genuinely friendly and full of knowledge of the local area, from its history to the most suitable riding for your ability. The Richard Burton room we stayed in was huge with amazing views and the bar and restaurant was a great place to relax. We'll definitely return to explore more of the area!

Foods lacking in quality, but staff friendly and sociable. Place was clean, albeit a little dated, and welcoming. Would certainly come back again, but would choose my meal wisely to avoid disappointment.

Great access to trails at the old forest visitor centre with great mountain biking trails. Bit more of a hike to the new centre further into the forest, but just a short drive.

All together, it was a welcome sight at the end of a wet ride, but I wouldn't try ordering a rare steak again. Still, lovely staff and easy atmosphere

My family and I called in here for Sunday lunch today, it was absolutely delicious we all thoroughly enjoyed and the staff were delightful and couldn't do enough for you.
Highly recommended if your looking for a delicious Sunday roast.

Been to this place twice now and thoroughly enjoyed both visits. Fantastic location for the mountain bike trails. Great restaurant with wide selection of food. Bar within the building makes it a great place for a group of you to relax after a hard days biking.
