About Age Cymru Afan Nedd
Age Cymru Afan Nedd formally known as Age Concern Port Talbot is an independent charity and we are proud to work in partnership with Age Cymru and Age UK. We’ve been established for 40 years and provide services to people over 50 in the Afan Nedd (Neath Port Talbot) area.
In 1998 the Riverside Centre was opened. We recognised that a centre was needed where older people could meet, socialise and enjoy an affordable nutritious meal.
We will continue to develop the centre and the services we provide to ensure that people over 50 in our area have somewhere to meet.
Whilst our name, logo and website have changed our service remains the same. We look forward to developing these services in the future for the benefit of older people in the Afan Nedd area. Our commitment is as strong as ever.

Everyone had a lovely time at our Tea Dance on Tuesday! The cakes were delicious and even though some us have got 2 left feet the afternoon was lots of fun! Keep your eyes peeled for dates advertising our New Years Tea Dance! Thank you to everyone who helped and attended.
A massive THANK YOU to all our knitters out there! We received a total of.....1600 knitted hats for The Big Knit campagin! Each hat will raise essential funds for our charity.

Our Cardiff Christmas shopping trip on Saturday 14th November was a big success!! Even though the weather was bad, it didnt dampen our spirits! Let the count down to Christmas begin!
