Akamuti was born in 2003 from a passion for nature, trees and natural products. We are a family team with a combined enthusiasm for green living and a holistic lifestyle and we hope this passion shines through in all of our products : )

Akamuti is a Zambian word with two meanings. It translates as 'Little Tree' or 'A Little Bit Of Medicine'. In many parts of Africa, trees and medicine are revered as powerful sources of healing. Tree ingredients are very important in our products and we feel that trees are not only essential for our health but also for the health of the whole planet.

Absolutely no chemicals are added at any stage and none of our products /individual ingredients are tested on animals.
