We use 100% of our profits to provide school uniforms to children in the developing world.

in many places around the world, a uniform can mean the difference between a child attending school or going to work full-time.

With akin the kids are active participants, in earning their own uniforms and ensuring that more uniforms and supplies will be provided.

They earn their uniforms in two ways. First, they take part in a service project in their community, simple but fun ways to give back to the community such as planting gardens, painting building, cleaning old people’s homes etc.

Once the service project is complete, they are given the chance to pass on the gift of uniforms to other students by drawing a picture. These drawings are then used to design new products, which in turn help to fund more projects.

Akin has expanded into shirts, sweatshirts, hats and notebooks to add supplies to the uniforms and collaborate with artists, brands and creatives across the globe on designs, all helping to help children receive an education in Africa, The Americas, Polynesia, and Asia so far.
