Alexandra Road Dental Practice

I cant complain about my experience with this dentist. I have always had Irina and I must say she is very friendly, gentle and professional I would highly recommend her as a dentist. Also the dental hygienist who does teeth cleaningis very good too. I havent had an experience with any other dentist at the practice so cant comment on any one else

Keep away from this dental practice I was forced to go her as I thought my old 1 was terrible but in comparison this one is an absolute abomination. How they are still aloud to practice I will never know. A dentist with the last name peev was attending to my teeth. He spoke to me with such repulsion and disrespect that it shocked me to tears. I could not understand him as he has a very heavy foreign accent, then he starts shouting rinse rinse!!!! (He wanted me to rinse my mouth) I thought he was saying rise rise so I was getting up off the chair!! He was giving me rows for swollowing and generally being rude to me. He was also awful with my children telling one child (she was about 5) that her teeth would have to be pulled out (which they didn't). They don't do the jobs you ask them to do and if they do they don't do them properly. My dad also goes here and they are hopeless with him too. The whole practice should be knocked down. The staff are all rude and horrid!! I beg u do not go here to matter how desperate you are they are hopeless u have been warned.

Irina (the dentist) and Helen (dental nurse) are a lovely team.
Genuinely, in all the years of visiting dentists I can honestly say I’ve never been treated so well and (importantly) so gently!!
I had a filling today and was in and out within 15mins. HIGHLY recommended, especially if you’re not a fan of dentists.

I agree with the previous reviewer. I haven't been back here since I had to have my teeth taken out for my braces which was 6 years ago, to be honest they put me off going over all. I had a woman do my teeth removal (they wanted to remove all 4 in one day!) and as Max said, they think that the anesthetic worked immediately... she started pulling out just a minute after injecting it to me and I started making noises out of pain! She then asked "Is that painful?" whilst having the thing still connected to my teeth at the same time still pulling, I tried to say yes but couldn't. By the time they did the 2nd one and finished the anesthetic just kicked in. I cried on the way home in the car, with my mouth filling with so much blood that I begged my brother not to take me back. My mum was furious because I refused to go for my next treatment, as she had a hard time to convince me to have braces in the first place. I then finally told her why I didn't want to go so she went ballistic.

She came with me to the dentist on my next appointment and told the dentist that she is a nurse herself and know of all the procedure and waiting time they should have followed before doing any treatment on me. The dentist had guts to say to my mum that I didn't say that I was in pain and that they asked me. She demanded that she will sue them if they continue as they are not following the health & safety procedures, and if I showed any sign of pain that it should have been an indicator that they should wait longer! I'm glad my mother came with me and showed them!

However I am honestly in shock that they still allow this type of professional behavior still exist here after 6 years! I was only checking it out as I need to have my teeth check and thought they might have changed. I'm glad I saw the post!
