Algarve Restaurant

ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! Its with great sadness that im writting this message to all our friends and customers. The Algarve restaurant has closed its doors for good. Its was a very difficult decison for our family but it had to be made. The main person who had this dream was our mum and unfortunately she passed away last July she was the person with the passion with view for the Algarve. We tried to keep it going but none of us had her view or had her 100%commitment therefore we took... the decision to close its doors after having the electrical problem last tuesday. Its was the best 2 years our family had were we learn a lot and manage to overcome alot of challeges. To our brilliant team our waiters Silvia Almeida, Xana Fogaça, Márcio Brand's Liliana Batista, Goncalo Almeida, Filipa, Miriam our kitchen staff Giselia Venancio, Lucinda Reis Carlos e Teresa Ramos a huge thank you there is no words to describe what a brilliant team you are!! To all our DJs that made our nights the best nights around Tiago Figueiredo, Mario Marques, Albino Batista, Luis Almeida, Dj Jonny, Jose silva, Fred etc thank you again for beliving in the same dream as us. To our friends you know who you are it will be a big list Thank you again and sorry that we couldnt carry it on. Its not a goodbye its i will see you all soon.

Hi everyone still trying to sort out the problem therefore Algarve restaurant will carry on closed for now. Sorry for any inconvinience.

It was a WOW night all the feedback we had was 5 stars it was the best way for us to finish 2017!!! Thank you to all the costumers that ended 2017 and entered 2018 with us!! We went for food early tjis evening piri piri chicken was the best I have ever tasted! Loved it!

We had our eith wedding anniversary here and I can thank the staff enough and the food was gorgeous would like to say a big thank you xxx

Typical portuguese food. Good quality, really nice!! Also the price is incredible. After the futbol the restaurant changed to a disco with a live DJ and african party! Really great!!

THE best Portuguese restaurant in North Wales. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable and the food is to die for!

Such a warm and lovely welcome thank you. Amazing prawns and a meat platter. Desserts I'd never heard of and got tipsy on the Sangria!

My husband and I ate here for the first time last night. We had such a lovely time! Staff were so friendly and accommodating, the food was amazing! We had the seafood platter and mixed meat platter. Such delicious food and incredible value for money. And the Portuguese custard tart was yummy! Owner even opened the shop opposite so I could buy an ornament I'd seen in the window! We will definitely be back with friends and family next time. Thank you for a fab night :)

My friend and I recently had a fabulous meal at this restaurant with the most friendly and welcoming staff. It is a truly authentic restaurant which offers good traditional Portugese food at very agreeable prices. Loved it and we will definitely go again soon!

Love the food in there, been a few times now and took a few treats away with me today after lunch, highly recommended for anyone who loves Portuguese food, took my mum today and she loved it.

Just got home from a lovely evening at the Algarve, food was great, loved the sangria, staff are so friendly and helpful, will be visiting again soon,thank you all for our lovely evening, from the four of us and the 2 children

Haven't eaten in before but have had delivery a few times and we always have a lovely meal, great customer service and delivery is always quick

Had a meal here for the first time this Tuesday and the food was delicious. The staff was great and found it to be good value for money. Will be coming back.

Had a gorgeous meal in the Algarve last night for my 30th Birthday, food was amazing and the staff were lovely! Can't recommend this restaurant enough.

Great value for money - you know when you go to your grandma`s and she lays out this massive portion of something delicious? Well this is like going to visit your Portuguese grandma - the food is amazing and the portions are big.

The staff is very friendly and the service is great.

And the coffee - proper, strong, quality Portuguese coffee.

Have been here a few times and will certainly be coming again and recommending it to friends and family.

Freshly cooked delicious meals and friendly, helpful service.

Reasonably priced menu and large choice plus really generous servings. Relaxing atmosphere and we keep returning because we always have a good time.

First time i've visited today myself husband daughter and parents had a lovely meal portions were big and prices reasonable staff are very friendly. Would definetly recommend and will be visiting again �

My brother and I had lunch here today. Lovely friendly and accommodating staff, I had my 3 month old granddaughter with me and they moved the tables to accommodate the pram and were very helpful, the food was delicious I had the salmon and my brother asked for a dish not on the menu and the chef happily obliged. If you want to try something a bit different in Wrexham try it, you'll like it.

Walked in place was freezing only 4 people in and us 2 ordered wine which was nice then ordered our meal starter was nt what we expected a little burnt but sort of edible , then came our mains what can i say , the worst meal that has ever been put in front of me it was disgusting ( and i have eaten in lots of different place ) this is really the worst. The food was so bland and overpowering and made me feel sick as soon as i saw it Hence leaving it all , the back ground music was something else i thought we were in a Portuguese restaurant but the music made us feel we were in Africa All in all All i can say is stay away ���
