We wanted a large cake with a horse theme. I was absolutely amazed when I went to collect it. It was incredible, the intricate work which Aly had done really made it a work of art! And, to top it off, when we finally plucked up the courage to cut it, it was the tastiest sponge cake with cream we have had!! Thank you Aly for your wonderful creation. Xxx

Story goes like this:

Harvey is asked by everyone what would he like for his birthday. For weeks each person was met with the same reply... "Peppa Pig cake."

'Brilliant!' I thought, that's easy. So fast forward to Thursday. We took him around all the supermarkets to pick which one he wanted for his birthday on Sunday. That was a disaster, no cake we presented was acceptable, in fact it was almost like we were trying to torture him or something.

After a lot of soul searching, questioning, investigating and memory digging. It was discovered that Harvey didn't want ' A Peppa Pig cake' he wanted 'THE Peppa Pig cake' no, he NEEDED it.

'THE Peppa Pig cake' was one he had previously seen in Daddy's Cafe up town weeks ago.

I nearly died, there was no way I was going to get a cake made by Sunday. I felt defeated and deflated. Even if I could get one made, there's no guarantee it will be exactly the same and if it's not, then he won't have it and I've completely failed. (We know how 'particular �' he can be.)



But I went to Daddy's cafe and then contacted Aly's Cupcake and Candy Bar.

Turns out she's an angel.

I firstly attempted to buy the dummy cake from the display knowing it was Thursday afternoon and I needed a cake by Sunday. I was completely desperate and willing to do anything at that point. I didn't need to buy the dummy cake, because as I said, this lady is an angel.

Not only has she made this absolutely beautiful cake but it's exactly the same as the display and she did it within 48HRS!!!

I honestly can't thank her enough.

I now have a very happy and a very excited little boy who doesn't have to endure anymore torture of the 'wrong cake'.

Moral of the story; Aly's Cupcake and Candy Bar.... absolute Diamond! �

So after a rough couple of weeks with my father passing I hadn't planned a thing for my daughter Alice's first birthday. I was struggling to find someone to make a cake in such short notice until I found Aly's cupcakes. With less than a week notice she created thee most perfect Alice in wonderland themed cake for our 'Alice in Onederland' theme party. Thank you so much. My granddaughter ordered a 5th birthday cake for her daughter, my great grandchild. The only thing I can say is WOW. It was absolutely beautiful, the best cake I have seen as the detail on it was wonderful. It was admired by everyone at her party. It even tasted lovely. I would recommend to all.
