We retired yesterday, a huge thanks to all our customers over the last 6 years for making the business a success, time now for our next chapter in life.

Amazing Drapes would like to announce our retirement after 6 happy years. We would like to thank all our customers for your support and hope that you have been happy with our service. The shop closes on Friday the 21st December.

Stranger than fiction. We have waited for six years for a Swags & Tails job to come along and then we get two in one day. Just two months before our retirement. Could it be they are about to return to fashion. Windows are the eyes of your house and they deserve to be a focal point. Swags & Tails do not come over on a boat from China nor do they appear in your ready made department store. They are made with care and, like them or not, they can make a statement. Take a look at some of our work circa 1998 when we were Amazing Drapes of Frodsham.

We have had a large run of Roman Blinds recently. They are certainly not going out of fashion. Had to make a 3 metre wide blind on a 2.8 metre cutting table. Very difficult to make, transport and fit. The result added a lovely splash of colour to a bright white kitchen. Must have completed as many as 15 blinds this week. Love doing them but also looking forward to retirement in December.

The shop will be closed from Friday 31st August until 18th September.

Two new Roman blinds made from fabric that has been on our shelves for quite a while at £6 per metre. We have many more rolls in stock. They look stunning when made up. Customer is very pleased.

Lovely new cushions for 2 tired Tetrad sofas.

Triple pleat curtains in a luxurious heavy brocade, blackout lined and complemented by a good quality antique gold pole. All supplied and fitted for less than £190. Plenty of other fabrics in stock for £6 per metre.

Just in case you thought that made to measure curtains were expensive. This pair was made using one of our stock rolls, fully lined and triple pleated. The chunky 35mm wooden pole in latte was also supplied and fitted by ourselves. All for less than £150. We have many more rolls in stock so please come in and look.

Lovely little bedroom chair restored to the best of our ability. Hope you like it as much as we do.

Very pleased to have been chosen to provide the curtains, blinds and upholstery for the narrowboat Peaky Blinder at the annual boat show. Very positive comments from the general public.

How to enhance your bedroom. This oversized headboard presented a few transport problems but worth it for the wow factor. Looks fantastic and very comfortable to lean against.

This window seat turned out to be quite complicated to make. Full of angles and curves. Very pleased about the result. What a lovely comfortable place to sit or read.

Triple pleat cream voile curtains, supported by a nice chunky wooden pole, fitted this afternoon. A nice contemporary way of dressing bi-fold doors where there is not much space at either side for them to hang when not drawn. We like them.
