Anglers Corner Description
The company has been established in Llanelli South Wales since the 1960's and now boasts a large retail store and an impressive showroom and warehouse which incorporates our mail order business.
We specialise in servicing our customers either in-store or via mail order and one of our key strengths is the friendly service and advice offered to existing and new anglers alike.
We are main stockists of all leading brands, this coupled with our high stock levels and very competitive prices, has made us the number one tackle dealer for many anglers across South & West Wales.
In addition to selling fishing tackle being our main priority, we also organise and run various fishing competitions throughout the year at many different venues encouraging the participation of children and adult anglers keen on learning the sport.
Team Anglers Corner which is our fishing club was formed in 2008 and in that time we have seen many anglers from novice to International representatives enjoy the friendly informative matches held all over the South & West Wales coast line, with also the annual beach fishing trip to The Gambia in West Africa being a popular date in the diary.

The kids are going back to school soon, and the forecast is showing days with no rain next week. Get them out there so they can put a bend in their fishing rod, the picture with that big beaming smile is priceless. Here is Joshua enjoying a day on a local pond catching carp.
Our staff member Jack Jenkins, has recently taken a trip out to France to Les Saisons, Jack finished the week off with 5 fish up to 47lb.
Jack used a range of Mainline baits products, and a range of Ridgemonkey products to nail the fish home.
We’ll be very interested to see what new products Fox International bring out under the Spomb brand, very exciting times indeed.

Make the most of the tremendous weather that we are having. Pick the kids up from school and go straight to the beach. You’ll only need a small pot of worms, a float, some small circle hooks and you will have a couple of hours of fun catching some of the many small bass that are around our coast line at the moment, and you will still be home in time to watch the World Cup football on TV.

THE MACKEREL ARE FINALLY HERE...
Once mackerel arrive for the summer they move in vast shoals, hunting small fish or sandeels. A large shoal of mackerel can force smaller fish such as sandeel, herring and sprats to the surface of the sea making it look as if sections of the sea are boiling. Mackerel are a fast predatory fish, closely related to tuna.
Mackerel are relatively simple to catch when a shoal appears in front of you, they are nice eating fish and cook great on a BBQ....
A light fishing set up with either a Sabiki, Mini Shrimp or feather style jig work best. Try using a spinner on the bottom of the trace instead of a weight, this gives the impression of something chancing the lures and can sometimes pick up a larger fish.

Purchased harbour rag/maddies from them this weekend, what a waste of money. The condition of the bait was appalling majority were dead and the rest were just falling apart. The guy in store shouldn't have even sold these. Will never shop there again as this isn't the first time!! Shocking service!!
