Anglesey E-Waste Description
Under new WEEE laws, companies must be responsible for recycling their waste electronic items, which is often a costly exercise.
Here at Anglesey E-Waste, we offer a free computer and I. T. Waste collection service (for 8 items or more), from Anglesey and North Wales, where we recycle and /or re-purpose everything we can, locally. We hold relevant licenses permitting the transport, sorting and recycling of the waste.
Examples of goods we accept are listed below:
Computers, Laptops and Servers
All components of the above (RAM, boards, processors, power supplies, hard drives etc)
Mobile telephones, tablets and consoles
Li-ion batteries
Any and all wiring /cable
Routers, modems, switches and other internet /telecom items
Vehicle /lead acid batteries of all descriptions
Uninterruptable Power Supplies
Working flat screens over 15"
Other electronic /metallic items considered upon request
Sorry but no white goods, printers, scanners, CRT screens or copiers.
A hard drive data destruction service is also available at £7. 50 /drive, however, prices are negotiable depending upon type /quantity. Certificates of data destruction are available upon request. Drives can be recycled for free but data destruction is not guaranteed.
If you are interested in any of our services, please contact us with a rough description of the items you have available and a date and time that would suit you best for a free collection. We are happy to collect from residential and commercial properties, and can travel further afield depending on what is on offer.

We are pleased to announce that we have a new drop-off location serving the North of Anglesey, located at the wonderful Cathie's 'A Little Bit Eco', located in the Holyhead mini-mall. Cathie stocks a nice range of eco products and also offers clothing repairs, amongst other services. She is currently unable to take large quantities of recycling, so if you have any bulky items/lots, contact us for collection.

Taking a break from computers this afternoon, visited Andrew at ATD Electrical in Bethesda to investigate a record player and these post cards with songs inscribed onto them! Very clever!

Unlike most recycling companies who simply crush electronics and recover raw materials, at Anglesey E-Waste, we assess every item to attempt to put it back to its original purpose, and only if it is deemed not fit for repair, it gets stripped down to component parts, which are individually recycled. After all, what's the point of simply recycling an item when it may still have use and purpose for someone else with just a little repair?
