We're really proud to be part of the Philfest team and been part of raising £6000 for charity, even more proud of the students who helped out and performed. Thank you everyone :-)

Philfest is finished for another year and it was a huge success. Run entirely with a sound and stage team made up of students Josh, Dave, Jon, Jaimie and Paddy who were absolutely brilliant and pulled together a stunning event. Simon's proudest moment was seeing our performance student Ella silencing an audience with a very moving and breathtaking set. Thank you Ella, you are a star.
We are taking it easy and going back to being just teachers for a little while now, but you c...an enjoy Ella's whole set here: https://tinyurl.com/y34rxkel
We'd like to thank Nick at just solutions for all of his work streaming #Philfest and capturing us this video, we hope you got some much needed rest. A huge thank you to the students who voluteered, Debbie, Sheila and Gill along with young Elowyn who was a trainee backstage photographer. To Anna who brought her Trac 5 ice cream (go check out her biscoff ice. It will change your life!) and all of our students who came along. Also to all the team at MonFM for the support and, of course, the #Philfest2019 and Iorwerth Arms team who we work closely with to bring this event to life. And finally to Philip, an inspiration and who all of this is for.

Wow! Look at that cake!
Happy birthday to Leo, one of our amazing young keyboard players, who was 10 on Friday. Leo is joined by our music room mascot, Cassie Van Bearthoven, who will be going on adventures and holidays over the summer with our students, who also named him!
We hope you have a great birthday weekend, Leo, and keep an eye on Cassie because he's looking hopeful at your cake!

This is Ewan playing (and singing!) Green Gravel. Ewan, who is autistic, has been having piano and music theory lessons with Medi and he works very hard to do as well as he can. Well done Ewan and thank you for the video!

A very different day yesterday, Philfest preparations with a 3in1 lesson for Dave and Jaimie on sound and light and Ella singing beautifully on the stage.
Well done and a huge thank you to everyone who helped out and took part.

We received this video today with a message for Medi from Gethin who's been having lessons with her for about 3 months. The song may not be too seasonal, but we're always really pleased to hear students enjoying their piano. Simon has just got his Christmas suit out!
Da iawn Gethin! Diolch am rhannu hwn â ni.

We hope it's a truly magical day, that both of you and Osh enjoy this special moment, and that you have a long and happy life together. Congratulations guys. Oh, and try to fit in a piano practice before you walk down the aisle.......

Lots of our more advanced students get to play this beautiful tune. Just not on a giant foot piano. Enjoy!

The weekend is here, it's time to take a break.
Well done to all those who played this week, it's been a busy one but lots of practice done and lots of great playing. Have a fun weekend!

Tomorrow is Bryngwran funday, if you're coming for lessons tomorrow, why not drop over? They've got all sorts of fun, games, animals and food.
If you go before your lesson, Simon likes candy floss.........

A huge well done to Gabriel who today got his ABRSM certificate for keyboard music medal (level 2/Bronze) and passed with excellence. Gabriel practices so hard and it is really showing in the way that he plays. Well done Gabriel!

For the last few months, we've been helping Arwel in learning to sing and prepare to surprise his son and wife-to-be on their wedding day. Today is the big day and we hope you enjoy this clip of Arwel rehearsing, who's worked so hard and overcome his nerves to step up today.
More importantly, congratulations to Jessica and Tristian, all of us at AngleseyMusic wish the very best for you.

Some of the features of the home assistants are really good, whether you are listening for inspiration or need a metronome. Ours just interupts the occasional lesson!
