Angus Buchanan Rec Walking Football

A walking football group for over-40s based at the Angus Buchanan Recreation Ground in Coleford. We meet every Sunday at 3. 00pm - everyone welcome!

The Angus Buchanan walking football group meets every Sunday at 3pm at the Angus Buchanan Recreation Ground in Coleford, and at Freedom Leisure at Five Acres during the winter months.

Everyone over 40 who enjoys football and would like to participate is welcome to attend.

We are a friendly group who welcome anybody regardless of ability or gender and the aim is to have fun and improve our fitness. We play small sided games, 20 minutes each way with a half time break.

You can just turn up any Sunday at 3pm - during the warmer months we play on the pitch opposite the pavilion and in the winter we're in the sports hall at five Acres. Subs are just £1. 50 per session and this goes towards venue hire (at Five Acres), kit and equipment.

There's plenty of free parking available at the park /leisure centre.

From 29th October onwards we'll be moving indoors at Five Acres Leisure Centre so we can carry on playing through the winter. Meet at Five Acres at 3pm.
