We have finally been approved for an alcohol licence at Anna-Loka.

This has never happened to me before!

The food was delicious; the staff were friendly and had a solid knowledge of the menu; the venue was trendy without being overtly hipster.

Wow, What a fantastic meal. Table of 6 and we had a variety of dishes from the menu I personally had the Cali Breakfast which was excellently prepared and served. As a meat eater I had no problems enjoying this wonderful food and have made a commitment to stop eating chicken (not due to any pressure by the restaurant!) what a fantastic gem of a place. 5/5 service and food

Went to Anna-Loka last night for the most amazing meal with my partner. The service was first class, the food was delicious and the ambiance was lovely. Roxy was my waitress and she was friendly and helpful, we will be back again very soon. Thank you for the wonderful food and top notch service.

Only criticism is that it isn't closer to my house. Boo! My favourite vegan restaurant by far � staff are so attentive and welcoming, food is ridonculous, and the decor (old) was warm and inviting � Not been back to see the changes just yet, but it won't be long I'm sure

No nonsense banging food without making Vegan/Veggieness seem `weird` to others ...after all you cant get more Vegan than a tidy plate of chips when you`re starving...

My first visit yesterday and it won’t be my last. The food was wonderful and the staff so friendly. My son and his girlfriend came with me they are not vegan or even vegetarians but they loved the food. For me it was wonderful not to have to scrutinise the menu for something 🌱. I can’t wait to go back.

Just had my 50th Birthday meal with the family and once again excellent food, and my non vegan family were impressed with the food, staff and unique ambiance ��� and thank you to Adam for my surprise as well!!!

It was our first visit yesterday to Anna Loka and I have to say it was wonderful! As a vegetarian I’m alway the minority when out dining, so to find a vegan cafe is a fabulous treat ! We had the Cali breakfast which was delicious ! The staff are very friendly and the venue has a really nice feel about it! We will definitely be back and have recommended to friends !

I love the restaurant very much. I've been three times in the last year and tend not to eat out anywhere else, as this is currently my favourite Cardiff restaurant. The food is outstanding and the staff are friendly.

I have planned to come to this place for so long. we finally got there with my brother on sunday but they were closing. what a disappointment.(my brother's fault for not checking the opening times properly) then i got the idea that we could at least do take away. the staff was super sweet, they recommended us the burgers and made it for us quickly. we ate it at my brothers place . the food was absolutely amazing. i cant wait to go back and have a nice chilled sit down and try some other dishes. it looks very cozy in there. and also they saved our sunday evening. i am so happy i didnt need to start thinking what else to eat. we are very grateful to the staff in there. thank you.

I have been so excited to come here since hearing about you and you definitely didn’t disappoint! The food was beautiful, SO good! The staff were super friendly in a lovely relaxed environment. It was such a nice feeling not having to dissect the menu to see what was suitable and just order whatever I fancied. I will 100% be returning!

I came here tonight with two non-vegan friends. They had booked it because I'm usually rooting around the menu on our nights out for something I can eat. I was really touched they had chosen this place and hoping they liked it. I shouldn't have worried - the food was heavenly. We all loved it. And the peanut butter cheesecake - well I don't have the words! Add to that a lovely laid back atmosphere and great service - we all just loved it.

Had the most amazing meal here. We had a ‘chicken’ and ‘bacon’ burger and the open tacos. Tastes fresh and full of flavour. Then we had the raw peanut butter cheesecake and I wish I took more away with me! It was incredible. So nice to see such great vegan options.

First time here and OMG! The taste of every single thing in our plates were out of this world. We fives years into our vegan journey and honestly think this is the best tasting food we’ve ever had. Thank you!



And can you please open one in Bristol??? ��

As a long established carnivore I did raise an eyebrow when friends suggested having supper at Anna- Loka’s this evening. I took a look at the menu online and had to concede that the food looked tasty enough but in all truthfulness I had rocked up this evening more to please my mates than with any expectation of actually enjoying the food.



How wrong was I though?!?!



Fair play, the food tonight was absolutely delicious! I had no idea that sweetcorn fritters, beetroot burgers and raw cheesecakes could taste so damn fine!!



Thanks for a fabulous meal - I might just have a little flirt with veganism now you know- I was bowled over by how good tonight’s supper tasted!

Amazing first time for lunch at Anna-loka and we weren’t disappointed. Neither of us are either vegetarian/vegan but we were dying to try Cardiff’s only 100% vegan restaurant. It’s amazing reputation is well deserved as the food was so tasty, interesting and immensely satisfying. The staff were so incredibly lovely too. Can’t wait to visit again!!

The food was excellent, couldn't fault that. The venue is very rustic which was nice however it looked like it needed a really good scrub which was a shame. Upon saying that we would still eat there again.

I was really disappointed the last time we visited as despite the blurb on the blackboard about the way in which the owner views doing business the experience did not match the objective. We were told that we categorically coukd not have the smaller (kids) portion of the vegan roast as you have to be a child to have it. The restaurant was an hour from closing and no kids. I can't eat massive portions and do not like waste but there was no budging. The waitress informed us that this is not the first time a customer has complained about this. I find it strange that you can't just pay for a smaller portion when it's on offer and leave having had exactly what you wanted. My partner also wanted different fries and asked for the fries with the burger to be removed. He was happy to pay extra...again he wanted to eat what he fancied and not create waste. Again we were told no. I ended up feeling bad and ate too much as there was loads! We then got asked if we wanted dessert. Had we been able to order what we wanted tgen maybe we may have ordered dessert. But we left having only been able to manage our mains which were too big due to massive portions and double chips and feeling like it was not a customer focussed experience. Totally inflexible and unaccommodating which is kind of funny given that vegans would hope restaurants serving meat would accommodate!!!



Plus I forgot to add what I'd actually been served was the seitan on offer not the nut roast I'd asked for but we'd waited quite a while and had to be somewhere so there wouldn't have been time to wait for a fresh meal.
