I am a clinical hypnotherapist and set up the Anvil Consultancy in 1994 when I first started in practice. I offer a professional service for anyone suffering emotional, psychological, stress-related or medically clinical conditions

My experience as a hypnotherapist leads me to conclude that hypnosis can be helpful to alleviate a wide range of personal difficulties. If you suffer from some long-standing problem which has defied attempts to remedy it, then do check out hypnosis because it may well be able to help.

I have a particular interest in treating depression and stress-related anxiety conditions. I am also interested in applying hypnosis, as a complement to mainstream medical treatments, to help with serious medical conditions.

I place a lot of emphasis on helping people to help themselves. Hypnosis is rarely a 'magic cure' for anything. Everyone has resources within themselves which they can utilise to help themselves. Part of any therapeutic programme is allowing yourself to be surprised at how much you can do for yourself!
