Apex Surveyors Ltd were formed in 2007, by a change of name from Durbin Property Services, a well established and respected firm of Chartered Surveyors that had been serving clients throughout South Wales since 1991.

We currently undertake a full range of surveys on both residential and commercial property, and specialise in full Building Surveys on Listed and Period Property. As panel surveyors for Santander and Lloyds Banking Groups, including HBOS, Apex probably carry out more of this type of report than any other surveying practice in South Wales. Under the Directorship of Anthony Owen BSc MRICS, a Chartered Surveyor with over 24 years experience in South Wales, we undertake a comprehensive range of services including: - all types of Residential and Commercial Survey and Valuation; compilation of expert witness statements; rent reviews; lease renewal /negotiation and provision of Energy Performance Certificates.

Apex are able to provide expert witness reports for litigation purposes, which are fully CPR compliant

We are contracted panel surveyors for both Santander and HBOS(Lloyds Banking Group) for residential survey and valuation instructions and carry out the majority of their Building Surveys.

A substantial amount of our workload is provided by local solicitors and private clients, due to our established reputation and quality of service.

Energy Performance certificates are generated primarily from our linked companies Apex Estate Agents and Apex Lettings.

Position Director and Managing Surveyor
Description A Chartered Surveyor with 24 years post qualification experience, mostly in the South Wales area. Anthony undertakes a full range of Residential and Commercial Surveys (including Building Surveys), expert witness statements and is also a fully qualified Domestic Energy Assessor. He is currently awaiting accreditation as a non-domestic (commercial) energy assessor.
