With such dry weather, we're more at risk of fires! There have been quite a few fires across the UK, with recent ones spreading across Gwynedd. It's important to take extra care.
Here are a few tips:
-Extinguish cigarettes properly, donвҖҷt throw cigarette ends on the ground or out of car windows вҖ“ take your litter home.
... -Avoid open fires in the countryside.
-If you see a fire in the countryside, report it immediately to the Fire and Rescue Service. Early detection can prevent it from developing into a large wildfire incident.
-DonвҖҷt attempt to tackle fires that canвҖҷt be put out with a bucket of water вҖ“ leave the area as quickly as possible.

Pupils learn best when theyвҖҷre motivated, so how can you get them motivated in the first place? Apparently the answer is to get them outside! Really interesting research on the benefits of learning outdoors, definitely worth a read. https://www.psychologytoday.com/вҖҰ/the-b enefits-learning-outвҖҰ

The obvious benefits of outdoor learning becoming recognised again.

After such a successful turn out last year, we've chosen to run our Gold DofE residentials over the summer holidays.
Why not spend a week in North Wales, getting to know new people, exploring Snowdonia and trying a variety of different activities.
