AMA Photo Competition - Winter 2018 -

Today’s little climb before lunch in the Refugio, then another ascent to to the Alberto Refugio, overnight stay, some more climbing then home for the AGM!

Over the last week, while attempting to climb all 21 North Wales Classic Rock routes by Ken Wilson, we were fortunate enough to be able to try out some of Páramo’s products.
Each of us had a Tempro long sleeve base layer, an Ostro fleece and an Ostro wind proof jacket (Sean having the ultra light weight variant, and me the standard).
All worked well but depending on your size and how much abuse you might give them, some might be more appropriate than others for your wardrobe....

It’s been over 12 months in the making but the day has finally come for two of our very own committee members who start their attempt on a very British Classic adventure.
Sean Mackey and Al Topping, our Grants Secretary and Journal Editor are going to try to link up all 21 climbs in the North Wales Classic Rock book authored by Ken Wilson.
