The Autistic Spectrum Disorder ( ASD ) centre enables every pupil to achieve their full potential in a specialist, inclusive and caring environment.

The Autistic Spectrum Disorder Centre aims to provide pupils with a calm and safe working and social environment. The use of quiet and sensory areas area an effective resource in helping the pupils cope with the sometimes busy life of secondary school. Staff in the centre seek to establish flexible routines for each pupil and firmly believe in the use of TEACCH strategies and ABA. Specific ASD teaching strategies are all part of the shared teaching and learning experience in the centre.
