Asda Leckwith Road Superstore

Just another big Asda. I tend to avoid using this store because they never have enough staffed tills open, trying to force you to use the self service tills.

Very nice place I often go there with family for shopping .I feel relax there very nice politely behaving staff.
But have a complain as well about a security staff member I usually go night time he does night shift. Dont know his name but he is asian origin .on 23rd Oct he was doing duty at self checkout counters it was about 11:30 night. Whenever I go there with family he keep staring my wife. I am noticing him since 6 months. What a nasty man without manners. On 23rd it was too much when we approach counters start scanning he came to us and start talking and staring to my wife she keep ignoring but was talkig and laughing. He pissed off this time.
I like store and staff but just because of this person I am thinking to leave my favourite store. Its my local store.
I request to management to check cctv and inquiry about this

Not a very good experience due to car confession on cardiff city matchdays stuck in carpark for nearly 45 minutes.

Excellent place to shop. Friendly assistants. Clean and all products easily accessable. Plenty of choice and lots of roll backs to save money.

This supermarket is ideally located.
With lots of parking ~ the only downside is there's no covered parking bays for motorcyclists like myself & there's nowhere safe to store my helmet & bulky jacket, luggage etc but in my trolley 😞
The whole shop is easy to walk about in, with their wide aisles & the staff are more than happy to help at any given time 😊
The fish counter however, is another story altogether! I'd say that only 1 in 5 members of staff actually thoroughly wash their hands when moving from stacking pizza's on the deli counter, to serving you your choice of seafood. I've dumped many a fresh fish before getting to the tills, after being served by one woman in particular...who seems to think that running her hands under the tap for three seconds will suffice!!

Good prices. Has home and clothes products, as well as food. Plenty of parking spaces. Always tidy and well stocked. Staff very helpful.

Has stopped 24 hour trading with little notice. Small sandwich board locked in foyer on day changes happened. All online search results still show as 24 hours. Massive sign to take down and where am I going to buy crisps and beer from at 3am? 😂

Standard asda nice place friendly staff always willing to help cheap prices

At 10:15pm on 01/02/2017 I was stopped by Asda male worker Manik as I was leaving the store after spending £66. Manik said he needed to see my receipt even though I was seen on camera scanning and paying for me items, nor did the store alarms go off! Manik stated that it is company policy to randomly stop and check customers, their items an contents of shopping bags. I requested that Manik take all my items out of my shopping bags, check that all items are stated on my receipt and kindly put all items back into my shopping bags. Manik did not do this. He looked at receipt after stopping me and stated its fine. I am dissatisfied with the way in which this was handled and requested that this is dealt with at immediate affect. Manik stated that asda staff generally stop customers with 'bulky' items. The biggest item i purchased was a ladies handbag. He did not even check this bag correctly. I independently open the handbag and showed Manik the contents of which was paper that keeps the bags shape for purchase. I am utterly disgusted with the way i have been treated in the Leckwith, Cardiff Asda store by a member of floor staff that is not even a secruity team member.
