Great offers and choices on both clothing and groceries, staff always happy to help and easy to park.

Headed straight for the cafeteria - queued for coffee. Was told by the lad at the till the coffee machine was down (no notice on the machine so still had to queue to find out). Wasnt offered tea as an alternative. Finding out that tea was available was like nailing jelly to a wall. Left feeling deflated by the horrible, begrudging service. Very anti-the-customer by any standard

Lovely big bright store. Good prices and friendly staff.

Suprisingly big and well stocked with the upper floor. Massive parking lot. Very good experience. Pleasure to do weekly shopping.

Items constantly being moved around. Signs in aisles incorrect. Presumably as part of strategy to encourage us to buy more while trying to find the things we need

Called in late last night as my son needed new clothes for an interview today. Debbie was re-stocking in George and went above and beyond to ensure that he had suitable clothing. Exceptionally helpful, fantastic customer service. thank you

Excellent store. Incredibly comprehensive range of goods - foodstuffs, electric goods, stationary, clothing, etc. Also a great restaurant.

I am from Australia and I went to ASDA at Merthyr a dozen times or more. All I can say about the staff at ASDA is this, If I had a business dealing with the public I would steal the staff for my own business. Nothing, it seems is too much trouble to them. They are all pleasant and helpful and kind. You may have the best staff in Wales. Pay them more money. Take them out on work days. Give them a bonus. Give them a bigger discount. Say thank you to them. Use them on your TV ads. Just look after them. To everyone a big thank you from me. The one with the funny accent.
