Asda Queensferry Supercentre

called Friday 2pm, plenty of parking, good clean store, all usual supermarket things you would expect, car park exit is poorly signed it's not clear which way to turn back to main roundabout. store is not signed off main a55, indeed westbound sliproad is not marked at all

I called this store on the 1/11/17, when I finally got through to someone on customer services, someone called Cath I got nothing but the feeling that my enquiry was an inconvenience, was very unwilling to help, or call someone from the George department to see if the item I was enquiring about was in stock as that Asda is a 40 minute drive from me, she hung up and when I called back didn't apologise nor offer an explanation as to why the phone went dead, she told me she couldn't leave the desk to check if the item was in stock, so I wonder why the phone took so long to answer in the first place if the desk was always manned? She told me NO ONE was working on George? What absolutely not one member of staff? I asked if she could just get anyone from any department to check just so it's not a wasted jorney, but again said no I can give you a call later when a member of staff comes in!

Ridiculous this was around 11 in the morning and I refuse to believe that the George department did not have at least one member of staff working! Always plenty walking around the entire store times iv been their!

1-star review is for the Opticians rather than the store itself. Had been using the opticians for several years with no problems. However, at my last visit I was concerned by vision had deteriorated. The optition advised me that he wasnt confident in what he had seen and I needed to go to Spec Savers in flint as they had a special camera to look at my eyes better. That's fair enough but Asda told me I needed to buy new glasses. The new glasses made no difference to my poor eyesight and as I imagined after my examination at Specsavers in flint my fears were concerned I had cataracts. Richard in flint has since done all my necessary cataract assessments and referrals and I'm now waiting for my 2nd eye to be operated on. I have no real problems with the optician admitting he needed another opinion but to sell me completely unnecessary specs when what I needd was surgery feels very unprofessional and frankly dishonest and a rip off. At no point during my dealings with Specsavers in flint have I been asked to buy glasses. In fact, my new optician has been quite insistent I leave buying new specs until after I've had both cataracts done

Not a great visit this morning, things out of stock, price of the bread rolls gone up from 50p to £1 busy tills, self service till conveyor belt not working and self service till running very slow. Normally average experience in here and would normally get a 4 but today I was let down.

Service at the Photo Counter is excellent and very personal. Always had outstanding quality on film processing and​ image printing.
Hope this will not be taken over by Photo-Me as in so many other stores.
When Photo-Me does take it over.....I will go elsewhere, as they offer bad service, bad quality at horrendous pricing!

Asda isn't my favourite shop, but this one is pretty good its huge so selection is good.
