On Saturday we will be hosting our first ever Finswimming Gala at Ellesmere Port Swimming Pool. The competition will start at 5pm. It would be great to see some of you down there cheering our finswimmers on! We are hoping to stream the event live on our facebook page... in preparation for this please could you like/follow our ASKA Finswimming Club page on Facebook and share the stream when it starts on Saturday evening! Thank you... the more shares and likes the better!

We are now closed for half term. Lessons start back on Sunday 3rd March. 👍

NORTHGATE PUPILS Northgate are doing their best to be OK for tonight’s session... the training pool is OK for use but they currently have no hot water to the showers. We need a quick straw poll to know if this is OK for customers. Please give me a 👍 or 👎

The end of an era day has come... today is Phil’s last shift at ASKA! Phil has worked with us for nearly the whole of the 10 years we have been open. We will miss him and everything he does over and above the call of duty, but of course wish him huge luck and success for his business. 🍀🍀

As we are in our last week of lessons before Christmas we would like to say Merry Christmas to all our lovely customers and we hope you have a happy and prosperous New Year. We will shut at the end of lessons on Sunday and we will be back at Saltney on Monday 7th January. 🌲⛄️🎅

Our kids had lessons and a party when aska first started up and to say they were fantastic with all 4 of my kids would be an understatement! The ability of all of them came on 10 fold and gave them real confidence too! Would highly recommend!

Our Daughter Nevaeh has been going to swim a song since 6 months old, she's now 1 and her confidence in the water is amazing, the patience that the instructors show is great and the small lessons are perfect, each child gets the support and encouragement they need. Nevaeh's lessons will continue with Aska as she grows and develops

Oscar has improved incredibly since having lessons with Karen at Aska. He has gone from a child who would panic if someone at the other end of the pool splashed (10m away) to putting his face in the water. The difference is incredible. Thank you Karen and thank you Aska!!

My little boy is extremely nervous of water and needs coaxing and reassurance every step of the way.Donna is building his confidence week on week and we couldn't be happier with the progress he is making. The purpose built pool is the perfect environment for little ones to learn in.Communication could be better but this is more than made up for by the excellent teaching and standards of the team here

My daughter and I started with Aska 5 years ago in the swim-a-song classes. She loved them!! A fantastic place to bond with baby and meet other mums whilst installing water confidence. She then went into lessons with Karen, then Phil and now Donna; all very different in their approach but equally good and loved by my daughter. She is 5 years of age and swims with confidence!! Amazing!!

My son was very nervous of the water as a baby, screaming as we got to the car park. After a few weeks of stress, Karen was great with her advise to give him a rest so not to put him off completely. He is now 2.5 and after 1.5 years of not going near the water, had his first proper lesson with Donna at Easter. He loved it!! He asks daily now if he can swim today. I am so relieved!

Love phil and Karen at aska swimming! They are great with my boys! Harry came when he was just 6 months, he’s now 4 and can swim by himself with confidence putting his head in the water which he was scared to do at first. Harry has come on loads and love his Tuesdays afternoons swimming. �

Karen and Phil are fantastic teachers, so patient, encouraging and make the swim a song lessons fun. Highly recommended ASKA

Karen and Phil are brilliant swimming teachers. We started the swim a song when my little boy was 14 weeks old & he has gone from crying after 5-10 mins in the water to loving his whole lesson. They supported me into not giving up after a few lessons and I am so pleased we didn’t. Swimming lessons are our favourite time of the week now :-)

Joe and Kirsten have been brilliant. Both my boys have progressed and can see the improvements every week. Highly recommend.

I have been taking my children to ASKA for 6 year now and they both love it. The teaching is brilliant and the small groups mean the lessons are value for money. Thank you ASKA

I cannot rate ASKA swimming instructors highly enough. Both my children have been swimming here for a couple of years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I wish I'd got them into ASKA sooner instead of Council lessons as there was no consistency with them. We have Phil (for my son) and Sian (for my daughter) and they are both absolutely fabulous - both kids love their instructors and I couldn't imagine them going anywhere else.

Having tried a couple of other swimming providers, we managed to secure a slot for our son. He has progressed through the Saltney pool, Northgate and now at University pool. We cannot stress how much he has improved over his time with ASKA. Confidence, stamina, technique - it really is amazing. All teachers are great, but Ben particularly loved his lessons with Donna and Kath, and now most definitely Wes. Keeping fingers crossed that our younger son manages to get a place as soon as possible. Keep up the great work guys!

Having just come home from a family holiday that involved lots of water parks and time in the ocean, I can tell you that we said more than once how every penny we spent at Aska was worth it! My boys are both confident capable swimmers, and love to be in the pool / sea.

Excellent standard of teaching with outstanding results.
