lack of communication is shocking. I told them I had very little time. The assistant wouldn't give me a price without seeing the part. But said I could pop in he would have a quick look and then come back once the parts were in to get it fixed. I arrived to "give me your keys and take a seat". 20 minutes later without a word, I went and found them. The attitude was " well its now another 50 mins til I can take a look because were busy". So would of left me there for an hour and 15 minutes to look at a very obvious exhaust hanging off. I could see it from 10 meters away, yet they "had" to look to quote. Needless to say I took my keys and left.

Rude and unhelpful from the moment I entered the building. Wanted nothing more than to argue with me over a reason why they couldn't provide me service.

I went to the ATS Swansea Neath Road (near the Liberty Stadium) to get price for two new rear tyres for my car. I was quoted "MO" prices (i.e. Mercedes Original tyres). I asked if they could give me a quote for their budget tyres and was told - "we could but you need to know your insurance will not pay out if you use anything other than MO tyres for your car"... I was confused by this comment as obviously I knew this to be a complete lie and a con to get people to buy the more expensive tyres from them. So, to prove to them I knew they were trying to con me, I said - "ok, no problem, I will contact my insurance company tomorrow and see whether they will accept budget tyres"... to my astonishment I was then told - "oh yes, your insurance company will probably say its ok but the assessor who will look at your car when you have an accident will say its not an MO tyre and the insurance company will not cover you if you have an accident".

The law states that a tyre is legal as long as it is the same rating and size!

Absolute con-men!!! Trading standard should shut these cowboys down!!!!

I am only writing this to stop other people from going to ATS and being taken for every penny... honestly, if someone from Watchdog is reading this, PLEASE investigate ATS and their unethical business practices!
