Nice simple guest house with a lovely owners!
Hosts are real stars, really enjoyed our stay there, great rooms and food
we stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed the place. The welcome was warm and genuine. The communal lounge is comfortable, has some good local info and a decent selection of board games.
The room was very clean and is obviously well looked after. I wish we had gone for the sea view option but the view of the hills behind the building was still pleasant.
The highlight though was the cooked breakfast. It was excellent! everything in the menu was obviously of good quality (no water injected bacon here!)
The only downside for me was the bit of noise. Having 7 or so rooms and being fully occupied meant that there were obvious several people above, below and beside our room. Sometimes the noise from them disturbed me a little which robbed me of a lie in a couple of times but this is to be expected to some extent in a B&B.
There was also a bit of noise from the sanitation. It seemed that they're was a saniflow type system in some of the rooms as there was frequently a whirring type of noise that seemed to coincide with showers being used. When people in nearby rooms had a shower late at night or very early in the morning the whirring did disturb me. Ear plugs did fix this though. I'd it wasn't for that slight downside I would have given 5 stars
Highly recommended, a great 4 day break, clean, comfortable, friendly and a extremely good food. Nothing too much trouble as stated at the beginning "Highly Recommended"
