It's been the week of the summer solstice, the time when the sun stands still, and to mark the longest day we decided to watch the sunset on June 21st from the top of our local mountain. The dog wasn't impressed by the view!

In our very busy lives it's good sometimes to stand and stare and enjoy the wonders of nature....even the small things......a forest of foxgloves, which the bees love,and wild honey suckle with it's beautiful perfume.

Well it's official,this has been the hottest May since records began. We can't ignore the floods in some places but here in Baavet land ( that's officially the coast of the Snowdonia National Park, if you didn't already know) it's been glorious with most rain in the evening. We love our Baavet, we have been the very proud owners for a year now and it has kept us warm and cool throughout (medium). I have just purchased another for the spare room - I was lucky to get a baargain however it is well worth the full price! Thank you �

We bought a duvet last year and have now purchased the pillows and we are thrilled warm in the winter cool in the summer love it and wouldn't be with out now the pillows have helped with my allergy as well so plus plus thank you x

Night one under a medium weight super King duvet (of course I went for the most expensive to try first!) was superb. Sadly night 2-4 are away in hotels. I drove away from home wishing I'd packed it! I was so comfortably warm, not hot or cold. And I got extra snuggles from my other half as we weren't boiling each other to death. They definitely work as you describe! Just need another flash sale on pillows... Discovered you after that! Plus great customer service and delivery. Very pleased :) thank you. Now, please make it Friday so I'm back under my Baavet!

Love, love, LOVE this duvet. It's so cosy and I'm no longer overheating like I was with my feather duvet. We sleep in a loft conversion and even in winter our feather duvet can get too hot. Not so the baavet. It always seems to be the right temperature.



Customer service is just excellent too. I phoned on a Wednesday to ask for advice on weights and what would suit us best, and the very helpful Ellie said she would ring me that afternoon if there were any factory seconds because I'm thinking of buying 2 different weights for different times of the year (it can be very hot in our bedroom in summer). And ring me she did...I ordered a mediumweight duvet over the phone and it arrived less than 24 hours later for a bargain price. I'm going to look out for a lightweight one as well.



I love the wooly smell too. Although if you don't like that sort of thing, rest assured it does fade away quite quickly.

Just amazing! Bought the pillow and the king size duvet. I've never slept so well in my life! I suffer continual neck and back pain following a motorbike accident several years ago. With the pillow my pain has nearly gone. The duvet is like sleeping under a cloud, I'm cold, my husband is hot (�) and it works for both of us. If you're thinking of buying one do it, they are so worth the money.

I've had my Baavet duvet for nearly 3 years now and I'm still as in love with it as ever. I believe it was a medium weight and I sleep under it most of the year round (all but the hottest summer nights, when any blanket is too much!)

The weight and feel of it are perfect.

I treat myself to a pillow recently as i was always waking up with aching shoulders (and really I just wanted to treat myself!). It requires a bit more maintainance than your average pillow (fluffing the wool balls and changing the cover) but I no longer wake up aching or sweaty like I did with my old pillows.



I would never settle for any other duvet!

I haven't actually tried my duvets yet, they arrived today but I am already in love with the faint natural smell of them, it's gorgeous, and I love the little sample duvet section you include, I shall be passing that round friends and family (if only to sniff) lol looking forward to actually sleeping under one : )

I have a dog Baavet Duvet which my dog loves and I mean loves. My daughter has bought one for her dog now as well. I can highly recommend this product.

I absolutely love my kingsize Baavet. I would never usually spend this much on a duvet but having read all the reviews on the website I decided to treat myself, also the 30 day no quibble return guarantee offered peace of mind! I managed to get it from the bargain box and the only thing 'wrong' with it is that it is a little heavier than the normal medium weight. I love the crinkly noise it makes and the slight wool smell I find really comforting! Someone described it as being like sleeping under a cloud, I can see why. I also got a wool filled pillow. I have really bad problems with my neck and getting a suitable pillow is near impossible, not to mention expensive when they don't work out! I plumped (no pun intended!) for the firm pillow with extra cover so that if necessary I can alter the amount of filling to suit. So far I am sticking with the firm filling, although I might remove some of the wool to experiment with a slightly softer version. I love these British made products though, and am a convert to the baavet. No polyester for my bed anymore!!

The duvet was also so cosy but neither myself or husband were overheated during the night, and it was a warm, muggy night!

Best purchase I've made in a long time! Lovely touch with the little lavender bag in with the duvet too!

Had our duvets over a year now and absolutely impressed with them. Keeping us warm on these frosty nights without being too bulky. We are sheep farmers and so need a good nights sleep and even better wrapped in wool. ��

Completely in love with my new Baavet duvet. Only spent one night with it so far, and looking forward to many more. Many thanks to Willow Walker for telling me about the Baavet website, and the treasure trove that is your Bargain Box.

Next stop: a retailer who stocks your mattresses - I've found one in my vicinity, and will be going as soon as possible.

Many thanks for straightforward website, easy ordering and fantastically prompt delivery of well packaged item with clear instructions on care and usage - and nice touch of including a wee lavendar bag.

Brought one yesterday at the Norfolk Show after thinking about it for a year... tried it last night and wow, as said it keeps you cool on hot nights as well... if anyone in doubt like I was, put the doubt aside and invest...

Bought a medium duvet and a firm pillow at Chatsworth Country Fair. The lady was very knowledgable and now after 3 nights using them, I'm impressed. Duvet seemed so thin yet is as warm as my previous 10.5 tog feather and down duvet. The advantage is that the contents don't move about and leave cold patches. I don't know how it will cope with a cold winter yet but I usually wear warm pyjamas in winter and always have a blanket handy. The firm pillow seemed a bit firmer than I liked, yet I slept very comfortably on it. I like the fact you can take some wool out if it's too firm.

Bill loves the pillow he bought at Fram Country fair yesterday. I think a duvet or 3 is in the offing!
