With the summer holidays upon us, Pendine revellers come and say hello and enjoy fantastic grub at prices that have not changed since we established in 2016, fantastic Burgers, hotdogs, breakfast rolls to name but a few of the fantastic choices of fast food. Tea/Coffee only ┬Ż1.... slush puppies ┬Ż1.50 the cheapest in Pendine thereŌĆÖs no cheaper way to cool down...
As most of you are aware at the front of the van we have a red teenage cancer trust donation box, our connection to this is our personal friends Dave and Julie tirelessly campaign in the name of their late beautiful daughter Jess who started a just giving page for the charity before she sadly passed. Today we received a very heartfelt thank you from Dave telling us that our customers have donated a staggering ┬Ż400 in 4 months from that single box. We are proud, proud of Dave and Julie and their awesome boys Josh and Ollie, proud to be associated and sincerely proud of our kind generous friends for donating and keeping JessŌĆÖs dream alive.

Well the hot rod weekend has come and gone and what a weekend we all had, 1000ŌĆÖs of visitors from all over the world coming to Pendine and I think Pendine did itself proud in accommodating everyone, we at Babs Diner loved every minute of it and did our best to keep queues down and grub flowing, this would have not been possible without the unbelievable help and support from: (in no particular order) Rhian and Big Gavin Nicky (the cat) and Debbie Mark the Jockey Mad Mal and J...an Lyndon next door

A beautiful story of Bundaberg...
So today a lovely retired couple touring the UK from Queensland, Australia rocked upto the van asking where the museum of speed was and was ŌĆ£BabsŌĆØ there as they had seen it on some programme great train journeys or something like that, anyway after pointing them in the direction of the museum we told told them to swing by for a coffee before they left, Garreth being Garreth ŌĆ£top host and local tour guideŌĆØ remembered he had some Australian Gin...ger beer (49p in home bargains) and thought it would be nice to chill some and make them feel at home. On their return we gave them our gesture to which they immediately recognised the brand (bundaberg)? We asked was this popular in Oz? turns out that Bunderberg is a tiny Suburb in Qsld, Aus which only has a couple of small businesses a small ginger beer/root beer factory, a rum distillery and a sugar factory, THEY ONLY LIVE IN BUNDABERG, 1 km from the tiny factory, know everyone who works there, the chap worked as a manager of the sugar works that supplyŌĆÖs both the rum distillery and the ginger beer factory itŌĆÖs and they pass them both 4 x times daily?

With the Vintage Hot Rod weekend upon us we at Babs along with the Beach hotel have pulled out all the stops we have an outside Bottle Bar to reduce queuing and we have some awesome one off specials in our food marque, Chilli Hot Dogs with homemade chilli and and cheddar cheese, Pork and Chilli burgers with fresh salad, Pork and Maple burgers with fresh Salad.... along with all the other culinary delights all at great prices come and be part of it on the promenade on the beach...
