Baby Sensory Cardiff East Description
Our multi-award winning classes (no less than 5 at this year’s What’s On awards) will introduce your baby to a world of sensory exploration, where the two of you can relax, have fun and share in each other’s delight. For ours is a magical world, full of glowing balls, light shows, puppets, bubbles, rainbows, petals, massage, signing and songs. Imagination is a vital part of childhood. And together we’ll dance in the snow or dive under the waves, trek through a rainforest and sing the shanties of sea pirates.
We have a vast wealth of equipment and songs - many unique to us - and you’ll never experience the same lesson twice. What also makes our programme so groundbreaking is that every element has been meticulously designed with your baby’s development in mind. Created by Dr Lin Day, it’s the result of a lifetime’s work and study and testament to her overriding passion to inspire and educate children and support their parents.
We love sharing our knowledge with you, regularly explaining what we’re doing and why. For the first year of your baby’s life is one of the most important, when, soon after birth, the brain starts creating two million new connections every second! And understanding more about your child’s development will really enhance what’s already a very special time.
You can join us at any point, and we’d encourage you to begin as soon as you feel able. Because routine is important, every session is structured to follow the natural play-rest-play cycle of babies. What’s great about this is that each week you’ll have the opportunity to chat with others in a relaxed manner. Which is brilliant for forging friendships as the weeks go on, sharing tips and experiences at a time when you’ll probably really appreciate the support.

Our classes are specifically designed to be suitable from birth and you can keep coming until baby reaches around 13 months. Everything we do is backed by evidence and research so you ca...n be safe in the knowledge that our activities will not only be fun but also safe and appropriate for your baby and will benefit their development. We'll tell you what those benefits are, helping you to gain a wealth of knowledge about your baby's development, so many ideas for play at home you'll never be stuck for ways to entertain your baby. Each session includes time in our brilliant expolratory play area, perfect for baby to have some free play time and try out some new toys, and perfect for you to meet other parents and make friends.

All aboard.... we're off on a train journey this week, and a horse ride, and a boat ride! Phew, it's going to be a busy one 🚂
We'll build strength in those upper body muscles along with enhancing baby's balance and coordination, work on some fine motor skills, let off steam with lots of noisy music making and then head to the first class carriage, 1920's style, with our glitzy pom poms 💚💛

This is going to be such an amazing session, Rowan cannot wait to share it with you all!! We'll dip your babies toes in some lovely warm water to find out why 'bare footing' is so good, and then we are literally going to dive under the waves and go bobbing along at the bottom of the beautiful briny sea!
... Please bring a small towel and a change of baby clothes, just in case they get a bit excited and have a big splash 💛💚

We had such an amazing time celebrating Children's Activities Week but it is very important to remember why we did it. What a wonderful weather week that was!! Your babies enjoyed the wonder of the rain cloth and magical feeling of snuggling up under the umbrella with you, watching the bubbles fall all around. And what a fantastic kite flying finale!! So much visual stimulation for them all this week.
