Bangor Aurora Description
Bangor Aurora Aquatic and Leisure Complex is the official name of the new £38m leisure facility at the site of the Valentines Playing Fields.
The development of the centre includes a £15m investement from the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL), administered by Sport Northern Ireland. The centre includes the development of Northern Ireland's first FINA standard 50 metre swimmming pool.

Due to a number of gymnasts progressing to the next stage of their development, some spaces have opened in the Fundamentals Stage 3 classes which are suitable for pre-school aged children. Please note these classes are extremely popular and spaces are filled on a first come first served basis.
