Chaplaincy Weekend Away at the beautiful resort of Barmouth. We will be staying at the lovely Jesuit Retreat House and will have sole use. As well as looking at the role of Our Lady in the Church we will have lots of time to relax, have fun and enjoy the spectacular location of the house. The event is aimed at Bangor students and as it is subsidised costs just £30.

Our regular Sunday 'Movie Night' - always a good movie, often thought provoking.

Hello everyone. This Thursday we commence our weekly meetings with the coming event being a discussion/talk night where we discuss about anything current or anything you have come across that would be relevant to the faith. As usual, the evening will begin with mass at 6:30pm followed by a meal and the event at 7:30pm.

Movie Night (with Cheese & Wine) - Movie from 7.30.
This week's movie may not be 'relaxing' - it make you jump and have chills run up your spine - but remember that the Church's teaching doesn't have a gap for ghosts (except the 'Holy' one of course)!

The Chaplaincy Mass is at its normal term time slot - Thursday 6.30pm at Ty Acwin, College Road.
Though there is no CathSoc event this week there is a simple meal and Open House at the Chaplaincy afterwards. A chance to take a break from the exam and assignment prep for a little while (or perhaps breath a sigh of relief if they're over) and catch up with friends!
Blessings... Ray

Join us for the Chaplaincy's trip to Ampleforth Abbey for the Easter Triduum. Each year the Benedictine monks of Ampleforth take their tradition of hospitality to the extreme and host up to 600 visitors for the Triduum, They offer a range of talks and activities aimed at all cross sections of society as well as the beautiful Liturgy of the Triduum and Easter Sunday. There is a specific programme for university students and they do encourage students to get involved as readers, ushers or servers in the services. The Abbey's setting on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors is stunningly beautiful. For more details see Ray - But hurry it is first come first served , places are limited so we will need to book around the beginning of February.
