Holiday Opening Hours...
Last night (Thursday 13th June) was the first session in which our new NCLT volunteers took out 3 people with sight loss on a road cycle setting off from Bangor Sportsplex, travelling around the local area using Tandem Bikes supplied by the DSNI through the Disability Sports Hub Project.

Are you a teacher/parent looking for an end of term activity for your child's class? At Bangor Aurora, we still have some spaces available on our special Aqua Challenge sessions at the end of June. Each session includes 45 minutes on the aqua challenge and then extra time in our main pool area (up to 45 minutes). At only £4.50 per child, it's a great way to unwind and have some fun after all those exams! Times still available are - Monday 17th June @ 11am Wednesday 19th June ...@ 2pm Friday 21st June @ 2pm Monday 24th June @ 12pm and 1pm Interested? Bangor Aurora are delighted to be the venue for this years showcase. Come along and support your Belfast Giants Cheerleaders who will performing not only their SSE Arena performances but also all of their award winning competition routines!

Bangor Aurora are delighted to be one of the venues for this years SWIMATHON fundraising event.
The event is a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a variety of great charities and we have a record number of entries this year! The event will be running on Friday 29th March from 6.30pm - 9.30pm, Saturday 30th March from 4.30pm - 7.30pm and Sunday 31st March from 4.30pm - 7.30pm.
The great thing about Swimathon is that you don't even have to get wet to get involved! Pools ...require volunteers to log laps, distribute medals and caps and cheer, support and encourage their swimmers. If you know someone who's swimming (or even if you don't!) and would like to volunteer your services please contact lisa.mcbride@serco.com to register.
