This is just the most beautiful beach. The walks around the cliffs to broadhaven and the lolly ponds is wonderful
Definitely one of the most stunning & clean beaches that I have ever been to. Easy access from Stackpole Quay, however a short set of stairs have to be climbed which can be managed even by the elderly. No facilities on the beach, do visit if for the spectacle.
So beautiful and worth the walk. If you are able, the best experience is to park at Stackpole Lily ponds National Trust site, walk through the lily ponds to broad haven and then turn left along the cliff top to Barafundle Bay following the coast path. Spectacular views, turquoise sea and sheltered. No toilet facilities and some steep paths.
Stunning beach. But please note that it cannot be reached by car. You have to walk to it so you must be fit and able. Please note that there are no public services here so 'go' before you attempt the walk.
The stuff of picture postcards. Only accessible by foot from national trust car parks, but definitely worth the effort.
A big, beautiful expanse of sandy beach with dunes behind in a cliff lined bay. Plenty of steps down to the beach but well maintained.
Looks like a great spot for a dip, but no life guards and possibility of a rip tide, although not big worth bearing in mind.
There are no facilities whatsoever there, and that makes it very special.
What a beautiful place! I had seen pictures and heard how beautiful it was here and it surpassed my expectations. I visited in early April and can't wait to go back in the summer to swim in the crystal clear sea and relax on the beach. Well worth a visit.
A bit of a trek to reach but possibly the most beautiful beach in all of the UK.... Stunning!
The weather was not the best but we had a great time there!
Quiet, remote, idyllic, a truly unspoilt beach with golden sands off the beaten track. Probably the best beach in Pembrokeshire. However it's pristine condition is due to the fact it can only be reached via single track roads and a 15 minute walk involving many steps. Facilities including toilets and a cafe are available at the car park at Stackpole Quay.
