We are the first people to make chocolate from Cocoa Bean to Bar in Wales and we were only the third to do so in the UK. We're immensely proud of this and have a real passion for our products. At Baravelli's we are fascinated with every single step of the chocolate making process and are extremely excited to be pioneering this industry in Wales and the rest of the Britain.

Our cocoa beans are imported from Costa Rica and Ecuador at present. We're keen to offset the carbon used to import the beans and are currently working with Wrap Cymru and Bangor University to source sustainable packaging for our products from the British Isles.

We attend as many local food events as possible and are always encouraged by the customers reactions. We have found that most are surprised and delighted to know that such a product is made locally and have secured many loyal customers in this way. We are extremely passionate about our entire product range. In addition to our own chocolate we also make jams, marmalades and chutneys and use fresh and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.

We have won a total of 15 food awards in recent years across the entire product range.
