Barmouth Resort Improvement Group

Formed in March 2007, (BRIG) is a small progressive non profit making group of dedicated local people who are committed to a common goal of improving our town.

In a truly radical and ambitious way we aim to achieve this overall objective by fulfilling a variety of proposals that would range from the simple tidying of neglected small areas and corners of local authority land, to full-blown resort changing projects that will make Barmouth the envy of the local community and beyond.


With the help of volunteers and a variety of fundraising measures, we have already had an impact on the town with a variety of improvements. We are also keen to move forward with other meaningful projects around Barmouth, and hope to re-establish itself, yet again, as one of the most popular and charismatic seaside towns in the country
