What an absolute diamond of a place. Would highly recommend. The oldest house in rhyl, over 400 years old. Michelin award 2018 and the owners are absolutely the most generous, considerate and most kindest people, I have ever met in my life.nothing is too much for them. I stayed here for 4 nights from 5th April 2018 on working business. After a long day at work I came what I called home and was made to Feel like I was on of the family. Absolutely recommend to anyone wanting pampering and looking after xx

What a lovely place to stay. Elvira and David were so welcoming. The room was gorgeous, the food was delicious. I felt so relaxed and it felt like a real home from home. When you pull into the drive it looks like a chocolate box house behind a secret garden gate. Would highly recommend it.

We've just got home from a surprise anniversary stay here, the food was absolutely beautiful, I've never tasted anything like it, it was remarkably affordable for such high quality food. The amount of work, skill and love that went into our meal & stay was second to none. Will definitely be back!

We have just had a wonderful 3 nights stay here, Elvira and David we can not thank you enough for your wonderful welcome and amazing hospitality, The room was lovely the bed which i never wanted to get out of and the breakfast was to die for especially my last breakfast with you both, David great attention to detail, loved it Thank you. This is a beautiful historic house in its own very secluded surroundings and all the lovely touches that they both provide is just amazing, we can not ever explain what an absolutely fantastic place this is. This is the place to stay or even just visit for a meal..............You will never visit or experience a nicer place to stay in Rhyl. We come here every time we are in the area, about 4 times a year, and have been doing so for years. Always a warm welcome from Elvira and delicious, local, fresh, perfectly cooked food from David. I can't recommend it highly enough. Only wish it was nearer to where we live....

Visited yesterday with friends for Sunday lunch, the food was absolutely outstanding and the service was fantastic. Cannot wait to visit again soon

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the ambience in Tyn Rhyl is out of this world!

Stayed for 6 nights and used as a base for touring. Our hosts, Elvera & David, were friendly and knowledgable giving advice and suggestions. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts magnificent with fresh fruit and yoghurt every day before the "main event".

We had dinner on our last night, for Linda's birthday; David loves his craft and is very good at it!

Would thoroughly recommend this delightful hidden gem.

Special dining experience in comfortable, historic ambiance. Unhurried atmosphere, genial hosts and terrific food. First class.

Everything was amazing. I am sorry we have only just stumbled across this little gem.

Barratt's is above and beyond most luxury hotel experiences, without the high prices! On our second visit there, we were welcomed 'home' and felt at home every moment. Rooms are well designed with thoughtful details and amenities. Food is outstanding, particularly breakfast! Elvira and David work hard to make sure everything is just so and it is, all the time. Love staying here and will be back soon! It's a perfect place to use as a base explore the North Wales Coast. Just on the outskirts of Rhyl, a 5 minute drive to the A55 and all of the beauty of North Wales. Highly recommended!
