Easiest to reach beach from Cardiff. The train station admittedly hast seen better times yet.

Land of wonderful people and serene beaches . In love with " Caerdydd " - the welsh name of cardiff !! Must visit beach is barry island. Thanks to my uber rider who suggested us not to go to penarth and took us to barry island .

Barry Island is one of the best places to be for family day out by the sea, sand castles and sea with fish and chips for all. There is rides for the children to, to be honest if you have a large family don't take them for the rides or you may pay out more than you want to. Yet a fab day out here people come back, year after year and love it.
