Baseline Matters benefits adults with autism /learning disabilities, mental health within Wrexham area.
Our aims: Creating spaces for work, training, community, life skills.

Hi, and a warm welcome to our page. : )

We are a newly formed Community Interest Company, aiming to help adults and young people (16 + ) with Autism /Learning Disabilities.
We are currently restricted to Wrexham county, but as we grow so will our area.

Our activities are:

**Fundraising: **
Any donations of raffle prizes, Clothing and items you no longer need gratefully received as currently this is our only income. Please contact us as we will collect : )

**Sourcing: **
Should you need to find a particular item, we can advertise and source it for you and in some cases fund the item if feasible, thus saving you putting your details into the public domain. E. G. John has autism and likes to wear a particular coat. The coat is no longer made but his current one has seen better days. We can advertise and also contact the manufacturer to try and get the same item for you. (the sourcing arm of this service is open nationwide).

**Funding Memberships /activities: **
We will be funding membership costs /activities for adults and young people (16 + ) within Wrexham County.
E. g. If you would like to become a member of the National Trust, we can fund it and also help with the application process. We would also help fund activities such as gym, football, swimming lessons etc.

Our aim is to help young people (16 + ) and adults with autism /learning disabilities get involved in all that Wrexham has to offer. We may also be able to help with transport should this be a problem, but this is to be discussed case to case.
*Please note whilst you can apply for membership funding, our first 6 months of trading from January 2018 will be fundraising, and we will be looking to help with memberships from July 2018 onwards.

**Sensory Item Stockist**
We will be stocking sensory items /lighting. All profits will go back into the company in order to help fund our projects.

**Future Goals: **
Our main goal is to have a 'Community Hub'. This will be a centre where we would like to have the following all under one roof:
Shop
Cafe
Sensory room
Games /activities room
We would hope our members, their families and friends can come and work /use /enjoy the centre as they wish, whilst widening the social circle for all.
Whilst this goal is a big one, there is no reason it cannot become reality if funds can be procured /raised.
Until we can open a retail outlet, we will be selling goods and holding events locally and online, so please donate if you can.
Volunteers will also be needed /welcomed for planned events such as indoor 'jumble sales', fairs etc.
