Bauhaus Hair Salon

Found in internet, walked with no appointment was fittined in within 5 minutes. Really relaxing and really pleased with results

I was really nervous getting my very long hair cut to shoulder length. It didn't look too bad when I left the salon albeit not quite sitting right. I was told I had a lot of frizz and ended up buying a stupid product that didnt even work. I asked for a cut that I could style easily myself. Two and a half months later and its starting to fall a bit better. I went to see my usual hairdressers who is a hair lecturer in a college and she saw exactly what happened to my hair she said the hairdresser had made it very blocky and this why it didnt fall flat it was if she hadnt finished cutting the hair or thought maybe she cut too much off. This is why it looked like a triangular mushroom. So disappointed as it cost so much and I put my trust in her.

Great salon Mitchell has been cutting my hair for years. Never dissapoints.

I always used to go to Toni & Guy, but they went downhill so I started looking for a new hair salon and found Bauhaus. I've now been going there for a couple of years and have had an amazing hair cut - courtesy of Scarlet- every time. My sister now also gets her hair done here on my recommendation and travels down from North Wales especially! If your looking for a lovely friendly salon with amazing stylists look no further. 😀

I'm so upset with my hair and this salon today.

Last time I came here I was left with orange roots and you could see a huge difference in my hair color. I mentioned to Josh that I wasent happy and they said if I bought their shampoo and conditioner it would blend my color in. So I trusted them and paid for it. It never did change anything on my hair and 3 months later my hair was still the same as when I left the salon with the orange band all over it! The shampoo and conditioner cost an additional £60 odd on top of my bleach application which was £69.

So I put that experience down to maybe Josh the dude that did my hair had a bad day. (Which we all have)

I went back to the salon again today for my roots to be done by Sara and exactly the same has happened AGAIN. Bright orange roots!!!!

Also my hair was being washed by one of the staff with her hair braided and Sara started laughing at her while she was washing my hair.

Sara then said to her that's "hair loss shampoo" and they both continued to laugh about it before using another shampoo.

Today I said I wasent really happy with the orange roots and could they do something to fix it... instead they reccommended me another expensive shampoo and conditioner (Why should I be paying for it when it's not my fault?!) I paid £69 AGAIN for a service I'm not happy with as I didn't want to kick up a huge fuss in the salon!

I was then just fobbed off with if it doesn't fade give us a call back and we will just put another toner on it. (I had a toner on earlier and that didn't do much)

I used to come here years ago to get my roots done (the same color as my hair is now) when there was never any problems They even coloured my hair with glue in extensions in perfectly years ago! I never had any of these problems I don't even have extensions in and this salon still can not do a good job on my hair like they used to.

I wouldn't recommend this salon after the same experience twice in a row.

They just care about getting money out of you.

I'm extremely disappointed in Bauhaus!
