Went for a family Sunday lunch.

The service was excellent and so was the food

Nice friendly place with lovely decor.

Will definitely go again.

User

We chose this Bar/Restaurant from an internet website. The postcode seems to be incorrect for SatNav purposes, but we eventually found it. We ordered our drinks & was shown the Menu which had a good variety of Pub Classics & we both chose the Lasagne. We enjoyed our meal & was well attended to by the friendly staff. If ever we're in the area again, we will most certainly call in again.

User

We came across the pub as a recommendation on a "dog friendly near Swansea " search. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Booking online was easy. When we arrived we were taken to an area with lots of space for 2 big, wet, sandy dogs and there was a full water bowl waiting for them at the table. The food was tasty and good value, with lots of choice and the service was cheerful and friendly. Thank you! Highly recommend.

User

There was meat... I liked the meat... they also have other stuff that I don't like... like salads and vegetables... I didnt eat that stuff but other seem to enjoy... I also tried a beverage... beverage was wet and cold... so greatly enjoyed beverage... staff seemed to smile as if they strangly enjoyed their job.. spoke to manager to thank for very edible meat...was very friendly... reminded me of a young Dale Winton... verdict.... was very good

User

Thanks to Dan and the team for all of your hard work at the Kittlefest event! It was a great success and all of my family and friends had a great time...We'll definitely be keeping an eye out for what's happening at The Beaufort in future! Well done guys!!!

User

Such a lovely pub, dog friendly & has a beer garden and small child’s play area! The steak & chips were amazing!! Only downside was you need to serve yourself as the service is slow

User

Second time in a week to this place which I used to call my local. What a transformation to a pub but I like it a lot. First visit was a steak and it was done just the way I like it. Then we decided to go for Sunday lunch today and had the Chicken. I'm glad to say that it's not sliced and that it was a proper leg. All the food was served as we expected and all 6 of us were most impressed and full. Great job guys.

User

Lovely food today. We called in after it was recommended by friends. It was so nice to have a friendly and understanding manager when it came to food allergies- even creating a different kids dish to suit our little boy! Thank you so much! We'll be back.

User

Amazing highly recommended, 2nd time we been here now and the food is stunning and the staff are all lovely and so helpful, and they were brilliant with my daughter running about, they were so child friendly and great to her...deffo be coming back again

User

2nd visit didn't disappoint. Nice local pub/restaurant nice selection beers and lagers/ ciders cracking menu something for everyone. Nice a quick serving very filling meals but advise to save some room for dessert the caramel fudge and vanilla cheesecake which was superb excellent value for money will defo be back..

User

Lovely pub, good food and full of history. Plenty of seating for food and lovely little cwtch if just going in for a beer. Great staff and relaxed atmosphere.

User

A great food pub, we stopped over as a Brit Stop and it was just great. The summer salad was depleted of fruit but the rest of the meals were good. The staff were friendly and had some great ciders that they let us try. 5 stars to the staff and range of drinks 4 stars only food due a bowl of lettuce with one strawberry and a single bit of mango.

User

not nice at all food served cold and there was only 6 in the restraunt and when the food was reheated it was still cold we wont be coming back in a hurry we should of gone to the hungry horse

User

You should avoid going there in the week - our food was burnt, dry and horrible. The place was quite cold - us and some lovely ladies on the next table - all having food with coats on.

User

Sunday lunch very poor. Roast chick was half a chick looked like deep fried, not slices of roast chick. Veg not cooked properly n we all got different amounts of veg. Some had NO potatoes, some had all broccoli. Had booked a window seat specifically, but placed on table behind a wall without view. It was a special family meal n we were all disappointed. This used 2 b a lovely cosy pub/rest with great food n service. What a difference!!!

User

Looked lovely, quickly seated and our drinks order taken then went downhill - had to ask to place our order while 5 staff stood chatting. Food was disappointing (soggy sweet potato fries and coleslaw on par with Tesco value) and we were pretty much ignored throughout (even when we voiced our opinion). We had high hopes but overall disappointing!

User

I'm most disappointed. We came for Sunday lunch today to try b4 fathers day as we booked a table. The starter was overcooked on the outside (fishcake) but was ok, it was nearly 35 mins b4 we had out starter. Then another 25 mins we had the roast. I had beef which was fatty & chewy and not much taste to it. The veg was lovely & hot but I didn't get any boiled potato's which my husband did on his chicken dinner with no flavour. We heard 3 complaints while we were there too. The staff were lovely tho & always running around but safe to say I've cancelled the table I booked for fathers day. Sorry guys

User

A burger that is 'loaded' with pulled pork, only has a small container on the side. I thought I ordered a burger (no patty) just pulled pork but received a burger patty with no pulled pork at all, after taking it back a very small container was added on the side when I asked the server he pointed out that it was 'just topped' with pulled pork and after the meal he admitted to not having read the menu and that it would actually be changed next week. Just pointing out that it should be changed in the next menu.

User

Really disappointed in Sunday lunch. We came here 3 years ago and had probably the best Sunday roast we've ever had in a pub and what we got yesterday was shocking. A slab of roast beef that you cannot cut let alone chew, watery unseasoned frozen vegetables, packet gravy and 2 of the smallest roast potatoes you've ever seen.

Clearly the brewery that have taken over are not foodies!

I will not be returning and certainly not recommending
