Beddgelert Bistro, Antiques And Tearooms

Quirky place to have a bite to eat and a brew
Dusty cobwebs above cafe area, slow service, grubby cutlery
Lovey place. Kind, friendly hosts. Very clean. Beautifully located. Would recommend.
Had lunch with my family here today. It is indeed a quiet and cosy little cafe, full of character, nestled in the picturesque Snowdonian village, Beddgelert. The host was a lovely gentleman, very attentive and helpful. The food was fresh, hot and delicious! I would thoroughly recommend this cafe to anyone visiting Beddgelert๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
Don't be deceived by the appearance of this place. It is packed with character inside, the bar area is a little snook and a cosy place to have pre-dinner drinks. It's a little place home from home and the food is great quality and freshly cooked with plenty of variety too. The gentleman - I don't want to call him a waiter as he more like a host and he was lovely, very welcoming and a great sense of humour. He works so hard going up and down those stairs! The stuffed mushrooms were delicious as was the steak and ale pie with a proper homemade shortcrust lid. Good honest home cooking. We had visited the other pubs in the village but they all lacked character and the menu limited. We almost overlooked this bistro but I am so glad we didn't. This place definitely deserves a chance.
Love going to this cosy tearoom. Yummy scones!
