Our dark skies are perfect for star gazing and bat spotting - we are actually one of only a few designated dark skies areas in the United Kimgdom.
The amazing cloud over Moel Hebog - this is the mountain at the back of Beddgelert House and the path starts from the bottom of the garden.

Some stunning weather over the weekend!
Can you imagine a better location than Beddgelert House to make the most of Snowdonia! Not only do we have some amazing walks straight from our doorstep, the fab Shepa Bus Stop is just a minutes's walk away to get you to all the main hiking routes up Snowdon. The Watkin Path is our favourite, and if you are feeling fit, it's easily walkable at only 2.5 miles from the house.
We have the food fair in the Royal Town of Caernarfon this weekend and the Welsh Highland Railway have some great opportunities for a footplate ride! Why not travel from Beddgelert on the steam train!
Lovely to see our village and all the old cars. It was obviously as popular then as it is now, and as beautiful as ever!
