It’s a busy weekend in this neck of the woods with Snowdon Marathon tomorrow -if you’re heading up to higher ground please make sure you’re experienced and prepared!

Its a wet wild day out there-definitely a batten down the hatches type of day.......however we are using the bad weather to get some new stock onto our shelves but before we officially begin on all things Christmas we thought we'd share some of our lovely autumn goodies......

Many of you who visit us regularly we have met Pesto our resident pussy cat on your visits. Either draped across the counter, scowling from a high up shelf or cunningly disguising himself as carving on the shelves. Very sadly Pesto had to be put to sleep a couple of weeks ago- he was taken poorly and very quickly deteriated. We are all very sad here at Beddgelert Woodcraft and he is missed by us all, staff, fellow villagers and visitors alike.

Hmmmm did we just hear someone mention Mulled Wine......yep that’s it! In our newly delivered boxes the C WORD has officially been declared and CHRISTMAS STOCK preparations are underway in the shop! After all it’s only 13 Saturdays until Christmas I’m off to dig out the Mulled Wine 🍷

A lovely time to visit Beddgelert, quieter roads, footpaths and mountains and more dramatic waterfalls and rivers than the summer months!!

Great to see the locality being looked after!

Well, as quickly as it arrived, it's gone again! The children are all ready for back to school, and we're getting ready for Autumn and winter! Thank you to everyone for their custom this summer season, and we look forward to seeing you all again.

So the sun may not be shining but it is bank holiday and we’re here open as usual from 10am until at least 5pm!

We had a very quick stop in Beddgelert yesterday, on an organised coach trip. I wish we could have stayed longer! Lovely range of beautiful handcrafted products at extremely good prices. I hope I can get back to you before Christmas! X

This has been my favourite shop ever since I was little, I'd save my holiday money just to spend it here. It was the first place we came to to buy a wooden heart after my Fiancé proposed down by the water. Carry on being amazing, and we will carry of filling our house with your lovely products :)

My kind of shop. I could have bought so much more than I did. So many hand made one off items that were incredibly reasonably priced. Even the mass produced stuff was quirky and I've not seen any where else. A must to visit if passing by on the gelerts grave walk. There is a resident cat and the staff are very friendly.

Love this shop, visit it every year at least once, and always buy something. Love it, love it, love it.

Like an Aladin's cave! I got all my Chistmas pressies in one go. Reason to come back and visit Beddgelert!!

Just spent a few pennies in this wonderful shop....... Came all the way down from Hexham

I've just spent a week in North wales and made a special trip to Beddgelert for this shop I first went to in 2010, I love it and cant recommend it enough! There are some amazing gifts and I now have hanging in my window a lovely fishes windchime I bought a few days ago. It's high quality products and you will always find something a little bit different, if you get the chance go and visit this shop in a beautiful part of the country!

I love this shop. So many amazing items to suit all budgets. I always call in when I am near. Last visit I bought a wooden flying Dragon wind chime everyone who has seen it is amazed at the craftsmanship and the great value. See you soon.

Fabulous shop, unusual and unique gifts, a little gem of a place that I love to visit. Not only do I get to buy lovely things, we are also helping to support family businesses in Bali which makes me happy.

Absolutely adore this shop! We stayed in Beddgelert for our honeymoon and fell in love with a very special bench, we collected it last week, so it's home in time for Christmas and looks lovely. Thanks to the Beddgelert girls for looking after our bench for so long and for helping us to get it in the van! Xx
