Jays Painters and Decorators came on a Monday to price a job to paint my hall stairs and landing.

Work started the next day, first coat on and was completed on Wednesday.

I was told to let it dry fully and then if there were any problems at all to contact them and they would come back to rectify.

Well there are no problems, I have no complaints.

Jay was friendly, fast, respectful and asked me during the course of the work on several occasions if I was happy.

I would recommend to anyone looking for a fast and experienced painter and decorator.

If anybody needs any decorating done, I highly recommend Bee Jays painters and decorators. He came and decorated Our daughters bedroom very last minute this weekend, and came back each day until the job was finished and up to standards. He takes so much pride in his work, and nothing is too much to trouble. Top bloke. 5 stars from me.

Had the hole front of my house painted!. Top job, John came and priced the job up and started the next day!. Even sorted a few cracks out, filled them and done a good job with out charging me more money . Really happy with the work and would definitely use him again. Cheers john �

dont know what his painting is like but to wallpaper dont bother mines all got to be taken down n done again it looked like he was doing a good job at first un til the paper started to come away as not enough paste was put on n now its being taken down we are finding little bits around where hes been patching it up the job was too big for him told me he was a pro n also said he has insurance so if this is the case then id like your insurance details please to make a claim for my broken banister n more wallpaper i have to buy

You're right it was a joke of a job, but the joke is the fact that you charged £180 for 8 hours work and left it in a really poor state. You didn't have dust sheets, you didn't have anything to mix the filler you slapped all over the wall and the end result is a complete joke! You saw the walls before you started the job but now you are claiming that it was too big a job. It didn't stop you taking the money though did it! You promised you would be back today to out it right and surprise surprise there is no sign of you. To top it off you then have the cheek to put before and after photos (blurry so you cant see the rubbish quality of work) of the 'mint' work you have just done. Plus you openly start abusing one of your paying customers on the site that you advertise on!

This guy was an absolute joke. Came to my house done 1 strip of wall paper then left cause he was tired. He came back on the Sunday over an hour late. Spilt coffee over my brand new settee. Also scratched you flooring which I just paid 400 pound to have sanded back an varnished the Friday b4. Told me to send him the bill. The actuall wallpaper job itself was absolutely shit. And all he could say was its quality not quantity. I threw this guy out my house with no payment. Guys be warned!!!
