Beefeater Pemberton

A very long wait for food 50 mins then one meal was very bad but the staff did sort a discount out

After vowing never to return, I was convinced to try the Pemberton beefeater again. Considering that they specialise in beef steaks, I find it incredibly that in my four visits they have managed to ruin the beef each time. Burnt, dry meat even when you ask for rare.

On this visit the staff were friendly, but a little slow. The speciality beef burger was rather small, which on reflection was a saviour as it had been cooked to death, burnt, dry. Oh and the skinny fries were under cooked.

I will never eat here again.

Very nice. the meal was tasty as was the sweet. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

Stopped at Premier Inn on Friday night and purchased breakfast for following morning. Always have had a decent breakfast here, but can't rate this one at all! Got taken to our table and she didn't explain anything about it. Had to ask after sitting for 15mins if we could order breakfast and that was after a group of 12 had come in and ordered. Got told it was a new breakfast team and that we would have a wait. Breakfast came half hour later, cold plates and lukewarm food minus bacon which wasn't on plate, came after asking about it on separate plate. Very disappointed 😞

Went there Saturday for meal with friends long wait for food and when it arrived it was quite dry. I have had better food there.

Amazing service, friendly happy staff and superb food, well worth a visit. Simply brilliant. As good as the very best of restaurants anywhere in the country.

Friendly staff. We didn't eat. Drinks range about as you'd expect in a chain pub. Disappointed by the gin and tonic from the menu. Said it was served with fever tree tonic, but had to ask for it after being served britvic. There was also no lime as described on the menu. (Was offered lime cordial though 🤢)

Arrived at the Pemberton today and waited at least 10mis no member of staff came to seat us. The advantage of waiting so long was being able to observe the amount of tables that hadn't been cleared. There were customers looking fed up either waiting for food or waiting for their bill. An elderly lady walked passed and commented saying "it''s like everyone''s gone home." A couple who arrived before us were also waiting to be seated. Goodness knows how long they had waited. It appeared to be only one waitress who was taking an order at a table who completely ignored us waiting and didn't seem bothered at all. Taking all this into consideration we decided not to wait any longer and left to go to York Palace Wetherspoons in Llanelli Town. Where the food and service was outstanding.
This is not the first time the service has been poor at the Pemberton Llanelli. We had the same experience about a year ago, we thought we would give it another go as it had been so long since we last had a meal there but unfortunately it appeared to still be the same if not worse. Very poor customer service. We won't be going there again when there are so many other great places to eat in Llanelli.

Half an hour wait at the bar due to only one bartender serving. Food (fish) not fully cooked and batter mushy. Little sympathy/no apology from staff.
No tables available in bar area due to clutter of empty plates and glasses which were left uncleared for at least an hour.
Same plastic gloves and other mess on grassed area outside as they were last week when I was staying here last week at the adjacent Premier Inn.
Needs a management intervention to sort these issues.
2 stars are given simply as a result of the kind of establishment this is and that it was busy. Otherwise it would have been a 1 star.

Clean friendly food good

There were 11 of us, pre booked and we waited almost 1hr after ordering, food was nice tho and big portions.

Excuse the towering pylon, enjoy your food then nip to screwfix to get some tools to fix your toilet

Very poor. Stayed at the premier inn next door. The pub was meant to serve food til 22:00 and the bar open until 23:00. At 10pm the barstaff/manager decided there wasnt enough people in the pub (still about 20) so they would just close early. Given 15 minutes to finish your drinks and get out.
Ill certainly not be returning. Staff were not interested, and were just talking of going out early. Very unprofessional.
