I’m Bella, I’m 23 and my interest in craft has been unknown to me until now, though known to all my friends and family for years!

Deciding on a present for my cousins wedding, I took on board what my mum has always told me ‘Make something as a gift, because it shows that a lot of thought has been put into it, rather than something shop bought ‘. So immediately I put this advice into practise and thought that I’d make my cousin and her husband a present.

I had ideas, but I didn’t know enough about the groom for it to be personal and appreciated by both. The day of the wedding came, but my idea hadn’t. The minute I heard their first dance began, it clicked what I could share with them both… their wedding song, ‘All I Want Is You’ by Barry Louis Polisar.

I’d nailed it. They loved it, along with all their family and friends. They highlighted that I’ve always been making and creating things at ease as a hobby so why not take it further. Great advice.
